What's your opnion on this?

Some of you know I have been grooming Buddy since last Aug and he
sports the Modified Schnazuer cut. Short on back, long on sides and legs
and chest. I keep his facial hair short as well.
I am thinking of cutting the skirt and chest short and keeping the legs
longer. How would that look?
I'm confused.

Actually it is a little more correct

I proper schnauzer cut has very little 'skirt' it is only there to accentuate the deepness of the chest. legs are left fuller...it is all about showing off those terrier muscles, and I LOVE doing them on yorkies!! They look so cute!!

I love that cut!!! All of mine are in it except the ones I am going to show. Its so simple to do and saves alot of time especially when I work 40 hours per week and go to school too. I think they look so cute in it.

ok i took these earlier today while playing soccer. she has a different coat type then buddy's so she is poofier and her hair doesn't lay straight down.

I remember when your were waiting to get her! Look at her now.
That is exactally what I had imagined him to look like but was not
convined it would look right. I love it. Thank you so much for taking
the time to post those pictures. I love her face. Much like a little
lion. I'm going to try it next week when I groom him.
Summer is coming and I don't want to shave him down at all.
Those pictures certainly helped with making my decision.

Oh thanks, once thing Buddy has is muscles. Lot's of muscles on this
Teapot. I had the look in my mind but wasn't sure it was very proper
or even if he would look decent in it.
Kalina posted some pictures and I realize now it would be a great cut
on Buddy.

My thoughts exactally. Simple cut.
I am getting tired of the skirt after 9mos so I want a change but don't'
want to cut down the legs much. We're going to give it a try next week.

Here I thought I was thinking of something strange and so many of you
are doing this cut. Thank heavens for YT. I knew I would get the
answer from you guys.

yes i remember you were one of the people posting on my threads when i first got her. She has definitely changed since then but still has that ridiculous poofy hair. lol

buddy will look slightly different in this cut. probably like simon and hallie.

I love this cut! I keep the chest hairs though. Here are some of Azrael, but I've let her hair grow on her head so she can wear her bows now.
