| ![]() They used to breed yorkies to be much bigger(mine is 14 lbs), there are still throw backs..and I have one of them. But, at that age of yours she was still pretty normal in size, at a year she was 7 lbs now, at almost 5 she's right at 14 lbs..you're going to have bigger yorkies, more to love |

| ![]() I am glad to hear this. I got my Yorkie at 5mos. and he weighed 8lbs. He is now almost 7 mos. and weighs 10.5lbs. When I walk him people remark at him being big for a Yorkie, so I thought maybe he has somthing else in him. I began to research and found out about Silkies. He looks exactly like a Yorkie only he is built very solid and seems to be a little long for the standard. No matter what he is smart, loving and perfect. We have a 10 year old lab and a 1 year old cat and they all get along great. Also, I ran into a lady with 2 Yorkies. The mom weighed 5lbs. and her son weighed 14lbs. Go figure. |

| ![]() Well, that's all right. You'll just have a yorkie that is not only a lap dog, but a guard dog, too! ![]() I just saw the pic you posted. She's adorable!
