![]() sooooooo cute..... if you dont mind me being a little personal... how in teh world did you get your brother to pay the bills, how in world do you afford to stay home all day, and exactly how old are you? (hope this didnt offend ya, but seriously, you seem like you got a cushy deal goin on there! ![]() I was actually looking for a cock a poo before i got my yorkie because i wanted a bigger dog and there didnt seem to be any larger yorkies i could find, but $700 is still more than i paid for my purebred yorkie, why do they cost so much when they are mixed? do they get artificially insiminated so that it adds to the cost? Has anyone else noticed that "mutts" seem to be "in" at the moment?

![]() damn, i had to get a job when i turned 16 and i was out on my own at 21.... i work with kids too ![]() ![]() as far as the size thing goes....lol... im REALLY picky, i wanted the dog to be around 8lbs (which is what we think toby is going to be).... that weight is a little small for a silky and a little large for a yorkie.... so..... i just got the largest yorkie i could find (with floppy ears)..... besides the larger yorkies that are going to be more than standard size are usually way less than the cost for small or average ones......

![]() Hats off to your brother for his strong family relationships and being a real MAN. He is taking care of the women in his life. We have lost that in todays society. It so sad. ![]()

![]() Nothing against the pup you like, just a word of advice. Make sure you get a good written health guarantee on any pup you buy. Please be careful not to put much trust in the old "mutts are healthier" line. Its by far not always the case. What ever is in the bloodlines of not one, but of both breeds can show up. Dogs have many of the same health conditions so the genes that cause illness can show up in mixes as well. This kinda hype they use to charge very high prices for mixed breeds kinda irks me. Tag a designer name on it, call it healthier than pure breeds, charge a whole lot without any breed testing or even paperwork (cause you can't paper mixes).
