Hi everyone -- my husband's 11 year old sister lost her two dogs to intentional antifreeze poisoning this past may and since then she has been on a crusade to have a bill passed requiring makers of antifreeze to add a bittering agent to it, making it taste horrible to children and pets. She has written to state officials, and was recently the feature interview on our local news station. She will be going to state legislature next with our senator to help this get passed into a bill, and the more signatures she can get, the better!!!

I have a beloved Yorkie name Glory and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have her -- especially if someone poisoned her with antifreeze. Thanks everyone!

I also signed the petition....This is a horrible death to the pets who have been exposed to this...There is a rumor a person around her does this to cats and there is nothing being done about it....so sad....

Honestly, NOTHING that is that poisonous should smell or taste good

The manufacturers have a moral obligation to add that bittering agent~!

poisioning is a horrendous slow painful way for a animal to die i dont see how anyone could do it how awful!

I think this is a great cause. I almost lost my Jack Russell Terrier to poisoning, when he ate Snail Bait. It is also sweet in taste and can look like kibble.
