I have two baby yorkies a girl and a boy. I also have 2 previous girls who are now in heat and my 5 month old boy seems to be very interested and going on top of them. Is it possible for him to get them pregnant? I will have him neutered next month. I don't like doing this to my babies but I must do it. thanks for a reply.

Yes... Please keep them apart! When they first start to go through their cycle their bodies are stating to mature (turing them to adults) but they are still puppies.

Yes, it is possible and they should be kept separated.

Extremely unlikely he is fertile at 5 months. AKC does not accept a registration from a 5 month old sire... but the problem is this...if your male manages to tie with the female and that is certainly possible, it opens the door for more problems...I would keep them a part..

I would definetly keep them apart. A 5 month old pregnant baby is not a good thing.

The male is 5 months old...not the female...not that it matters....

Oh, sorry, I thought it was the female. I'm not sure if they can be fertile at that age (maybe at a dog to dog basis) but I have seen male dogs that had there little members come out when a female was in heat

Very unlikely, usually anywhere between 6-8 mos.

I think they can if they get their heat but it is unusual
