| Iams Some other articles about how great Iams Is. It's a shame because the product is located in super markets and is easy access and so many are buying it. Aside from it not being the best food to feed, it's also a cruel pet food manufacturer. I've known it for years, but so many would never associate a pet food company with this type of cruelty. If you google there is so much on Iams including video footage shot in their facility. PET FOOD - SUMMARIES OF STUDIES |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Iams had a major 'outing' about 5 yrs ago or...? I think it was around that time, but don't quote me. It was really sad, really disappointing. They're a huge company, and they do have the money to do things more honorably. It was my understanding that after they were cited, they made very public changes to how they tested their foods on animals, and how they were going to handle this issue going forward. So, I wasn't sure if you were referring to the situation from a few years back, or is there also a new incident/investigation? If there is, it'd be great to know about it. The positive side of what happened a few years back is that there was a big outcry against how IAMS/Eukanube/Proctor&Gamble was cruel in their animal testing. That outcry had resulted in some forward movement. I hope they haven't gone backward .
