NJ Protests Mike Vick Signing.
 

NJ Animal Lovers, show your support and come out and let Michael Vick and Butler Sports Cards know that Vick is not welcome in NJ. According to the FB site "protest Michael Vick Signing at Butler Sportscards, they have 456 attending the protest. Come on NJ let this guy know we don't want Vick, he's no hero and he's not welcome.

When the owner of Butler Sportscards was questions his response was "money is money." On his fb page he has one of his favorite athletes listed as Mike Vick = God. I think we know where he stands.

Think Vick changed? Think he deserves a second chance? Check out the video made by a man that adopted one of Vicks dogs. When Vick was confronted by the man, he was told "We don't care about the dogs." When the man told Vick he adopted one of his dogs, Vick looked him in the eye and walked away. Same Vick. No change.

PLEASE NJ ANIMAL LOVERS, BOYCOTT BUTLER SPORTS CARDS LET THE OWNER KNOW MONEY OR NOT WE DO NOT WANT NOR SUPPORT MICHAEL VICK IN OUR STATE, NOT EVEN FOR A FEW HOURS.

He disgusts me. I can see giving someone who's made A mistake a second chance, but this was not a single mistake.

He deserves NOTHING.

I thought I read somewhere that a few of his dogs couldn't be adopted/re-homed because they were so abused. So sad that an animals life is worth squat to so many people who try these cases. He should have NEVER got a second chance in the NFL...

Vick is a sorry excuse of a human being. fighing and abusing dogs is a MORAL crime, as well as a law one. I do feel sorry for him his soul must be so dark and pitiful..I do believe in Karma, and one day I hope I am alive to see him get what is coming to him..:mad:

Did anyone hear the news that Vick is trying to get a dog for his children? It made the news here in PA. One of the conditions of either his parole or sentencing (not sure) is that he cannot own a dog (not sure for how long if ever). Made the news in PA that he wants to get a dog for his children bc they want a dog and it would be a great learning exp. Vick says he'd like to own dog again someday | 6abc.com

I've heard ppl here in PA say, "Hide your beagle, Vick's an eagle."

From what he shares w/ the public since his crime, it doesn't appear that he's changed. If he seems unchanged to the public, imagine how he is when uncensored in his private life, regarding animals.

It's idiots like him that gave them the bad rep. I don't believe in banning Pitties, I do however believe in making it illegal to breed them. I say this because every shelter in the US is primarily made up of Pit Bulls dumped there and as I type this there is certainly at least one being put to death due to space. Being in rescue, I belong to many groups on FB and it breaks my heart because each day there is a list of urgents and 99 percent are Pits, most babies under a year old and although it may surprise some most are rated mild with no aggression yet no one will take them due to axx hxxxs like Vick who do to what he has done has now given people the idea they are fighting dogs. I'd like to ban Vick and send his axx into a pit with a bunch of the dogs he fought. I would just like to say, that for a long time I had that belief, that they were mean dogs, but the past year I've seen them in a different light. They are actually very gentle dogs, given a bad rap. Our Yorkies are more likely to bite then a Pit. The only difference is that our Yorkies won't kill someone with a bite where a Pit can. It's all in the handling and care given. Elaine

You are correct!!! From what I understand now they have 401 attending. I have to work, and would like to take off but it's double time on Sundays and the money goes to my rescues. There is a FaceBook Page for anyone interested in reading. Also, Woogieman love the fact you're spreading the word about Orangatans. Not many are aware of that. So much we are not aware of that goes on :mad: E. P.S. I'm wondering if Vick will have the Bxlls to show up when he finds out so many are going to be there to protest. He didn't have them for the Oprah show when he heard that families that adopted some of his dogs were going to attend. :rolleyes:

Vick had his signing today at Butler Sportscards, Butler NJ. There were about 70 protestors there and less then 150 people in line for his autograph. Vick arrived 45 minutes late and was such a coward that instead of walking past and facing his protesters, he climbed in the stores back window. What a PXSS!! I guess it should have been expected though, since he backed out of his interview with Oprah when he found out he'd have to face people who adopted his dogs. Big bad Dog Fighter, Big Bad Football player, and he's afraid to face those protesting him. Coward is all I can say!
