Fans Line Up for Autographs, Photos With Michael Vick - Kinnelon-Butler, NJ Patch All in all, a pretty good payday for Vick. Wasn't it $90 a signature? Even if he splits it with the store owner, still a nice chunk of change. He could do many other things rather than 'take the money and run', but shows his (lack of) character by choosing to cash in. Just once, he could confront the protesters and announce that all the proceeds are going to the local Humane Society or something similar. But he's too much 'all about the money' to care about rebuilding his reputation. Speaks volumes. :thumbdown |

We did it to subway and had 8,000 people boycott subway on the no way subway page created and the executes back right off. Let's see if we can get Nike to do the same! Elaine |
P.S you may have to log onto your facebook to access the page. There is also another page started boycotting Nike and a bunch have posted on Nike's facebook page, under discussions. Please join in. The more people we have the more our point gets acrossed and that we consumers will not tolerate animal abuse or support companies that allow an abuser to act as their spokes person. |
Jay Leno Jay Leno made a statement regarding Vick signing with Nike. Jay said the new nike slogan is: "JUST DO IT....AND WE'LL PRETEND IT NEVER HAPPENED" Would be nice if someone us go over on FB and like Jay's page and tell him Thanks for what he said. I don't know who did Nike's research but Vick according to Forbes magazine is hated by 69 percent. I know us animal people are stronger then Vick fans. I think they made a financial boo boo!! |
