I am surprised the dog was still alive. Poor guy. Looks so much better in the video.

And the vet says your going to have to eat slower. Poor Patrick probably thinks is this going to be my last meal again, I am scarfing this down.

I was in tears of sadness reading his story and now tears of joy to see his progress. I really can not understand some people. Why not just give the dog to a shelter if you can not care for them. How they could have starved and mistreated him. Look at those sweet eyes and how gentle he eats the food even though he must still feel desperate about when/if his next meal is coming. God did finally find this poor dog and may he continue to shine his healing light on him. May he always feel loved and taken care. Bless all the people helping him and all the other unfortunate animals whose stories are not being told.

I did not look at the graphic photos, just the news story and watched the video. My emotions are too raw right now, don't think I could handle seeing the other pics. I have seen many pics of Pits that were rescued, and those horrific before pictures will never leave my mind.

Sweet, sweet Patrick. Oh my heart just goes out to him. His sweet little innocent eyes!

So glad he was rescued. I really don't understand the human race sometimes. :confused::(

pitbulls are in my top 3 fav breeds- but they aren't legal here... so i obviosly have a seroius soft spot for them. in the 1st pics, his eyes were just empty- thats what made me cry the most. but to look at him now, even though hes still skin and bones- he looks alive, and happy about it!!!

personally, i think the punishment should match the crime! or at the very least, every other week of that 18month sentence should be on bread and water- see how she likes it!

I agree 100% We are too light on criminals here in the US and I say do the same to her!!!!!!

Thanks for posting this, it's so sad but so heartwarming to know people care and are doing everything they can to help Patrick.

Jim, this is so precious!!! I just want to scoop into my lap, hug him, and tell him how beautiful and precious he is. LOVE him. I'm adoring his very stylin' green coat too. Team Patrick!
