| Aggresive little man Well I'm here to ask some advice. Duncan is now 6 mos old. I have 2 older dogs one is 3 yrs the other 4 yrs. All seem to get along pretty well for the most part. However Duncan my yorkie thinks he is pack leader. He tries very hard to bully the other 2. Baxter (Yorkie-poo) is pretty smart, but has confidence issues I think. Cassidy (bull-jack) is very smart and the only female of the group and the middle child definitely the pack leader. Well Cassidy and Duncan wrestle quiet a bit. They get a little rough and I do watch to make sure it is play and not fighting. Lately Duncan has begun getting a bit aggressive. Do you think it is due to my allowing the kids to wrestle. This is not their only play. They actually chase each other through my house from the kitchen into the living room around the love seat and behind the rocker and back through the kitchen. I also bought a rope for all 3 to play tug o war. I'm just concerned that Duncan is not going to be the loving little man I anticipated him to be. Or is this just him playing like a boy and he will calm down especially after Friday (the N word). Or will I have further issues with him being aggressive. Also Duncan is always in Cassidys mouth. licking her teeth and the inside of her mouth. Cassidy used to do this with our Akita before she passed. Is this normal and why do they do this. Thanks, Baxter, Cassidy and Duncan's mommy. |

| Welcome! I by no means am an expert but I think Duncan will calm down after Friday. I have a 5 month old female who thinks she is the boss. Our 3 year old male just rolls with the punches... Good luck to you. Maybe someone with more experience will this and comment for you.

| He's only 6 months. I wouldn't worry too much at this point. You have the two others to put him in his place, so he should figure it out. Our dogs have always been really vocal with each other about acceptable and unacceptable play.

| The dogs will figure it out themselves, they always do. My Yorkie baby, Blazer, "picks on" my senior GSP, Buddy. It seems as though Blazer is trying to be the boss but if you watch them you can see that they are just playing and that Buddy is really in charge. Blazer chews on Buddy's ears, licks his teeth (yuck!) and whatever else (I don't want to know!) They play chase and tug of war. They nap together in the sun. They act like they're fighting but it's just play. Both boys are still super loving to the humans in this house. Really, I wouldn't worry about it! =)

Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi they are all still really young and even tho sometimes it may look a little out of hand with there instincts they know how far to go. In recently raising a litter of 5 pups I was amazed to watch how one of them would get a little to much with the bite bite and all the others would ignore him or her for a bit then start to play again as if to say, well have you learnt your lesson now.... As for the licking, it could be him showing that little extra love if you know what I mean
