| I am fostering Kirby I just joined this forum to learn more about yorkies and found this thread and all of your sweet comments. Kirby is doing so good. He plays with my neighbors yorkies, and you would never know he was blind. He finds his way around our house almost perfectly now. Occasionally, he will still bonk into something when he starts playing and gets too excited. Really, the only difference I find between him and other puppies we have fostered is I need to let him sniff my hand before I pick him up, or he panics. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know he is doing well. I will be updating his site as often as I can. I am off now to find some information on potty training yorkies. I hear it can be a challenge! |

| Yay! I'm so glad you're able to foster Kirby! And welcome to YT! You will find SO MUCH info here to help you out!!!! Now...I do have a question though...you say you are "fostering" him. Does that mean you'll only have him short-term, or are you his forever home? CONGRATS either way! |

| Thank you I am fostering for another month, then the rescue will choose his forever home. It brought tears to my eyes when I read all of the wonderful thoughts and prayers for Kirby here on this forum. I am looking forward to learning all about yorkies here! |

| Kirby is so cute! im glad he has someone who loves him, has dog companions to teach him the ropes and that he will be in a great forever home in another month! it was really great of you to take him in! he will have no problem finding the right home...

| Aww, what a sweet thing you are doing for Kirby. Hopefully the new owners find out about YT too and the can join so we can all watch him grow up. He surely is special. My Aunt had a litter of sheltie pups and one of the pups sucked a litter mates eyes out as they were starting to open. She turned into the best dog I have ever seen. What she lacked in sight she made up for in her heart. God Bless you for caring for such an angel.
