Just seeing this now. So glad she is alright. These little ones can take years off or lives with worry. Pixie had the same thing with her teeth and had to have 5 pulled they were so bad. The vet said that it really needed to be done due to the possibility of infection in her bloodstream. She put her on an antibiotic 3 days before and 5 after. She did really good. The anesthesia is much less for the teeth cleaning than the spay.

Sounds like you had a very successful visit! I'm glad you were able to find a vet that was very sweet and understanding!
