| Back to the vet with Lily Lily and I have an appointment with our regular vet today at 5:30 because her right leg is red and a little swollen and she seems to be in more pain than normal . We took her bandages off last night because they we slipping. I called the vet and they said it could be an infection. I thought it best to take her in when I got out of work rather than wait till her original Apt. tomorrow morning. One good thing is that she ate a little last night and a little this morning all on her own. She is also sleeping more than normal.

| Lily’s vet apt. went ok, she had a little swelling and redness in one leg the other is great no bruising. The vet took out her stitches and said she was doing well. She is on Medacam again for her swelling and we are trying to get more fluids in her so she will pee more, the vet said not to worry just try to work more on liquids and not so much on food. She has lost a few oz. since last Tuesday but the vet actually wants her to lose a half a pound. She is in a great mood today and wants to move a little more.

| I'm so glad she is doing OK and that she does not appear to have an infection. For fluids, try to get her to drink some chicken broth (no onion) if she won't drink water. You might also try really cold water, Gracie seemed to like that when I was having problems getting fluids into her!
