Your name – Sandy 2. Your city, state: Marengo, Illinois 3. Your phone number: 847-456-5602 4. Your email address: zilchzoo@foxvalley.net 5. Yorkie(s) For Sale: Young Female 6. Birthdate of Yorkie(s): May 26, 2007 7. Age of Yorkie(s): 20 weeks. 8. Weight of Yorkie(s) parents: not sure 9. Current weight of Yorkie(s) for sale: 2.0lbs. 10. Registration if any (AKC, etc): APR 11. Price: $1600 12. When puppies will be ready to be taken home: Now 13. Do you ship your Yorkies:NO This is a WONDERFUL puppy and I am sad that I have decided to do this, but I think it is best. She is amazing around children, other dogs, and car rides. I got her at 8 weeks, so she has been family socialized constantly. She is completely current on shots and wormers, and is ready to be spayed. She is WAY too small to breed so will be a PET only. The reason I am selling is that she is the 4th dog in my house and the one that really needs the attention the most and I am realizing I am not doing that as best as I would like to. She is so young and impressionable that she would really adopt a new family wonderfully now. She is okay with potty, these tiny ones really have to go often and with 2 kids I have also used the pads indoors which she is pretty good at, but she also confuses carpets with pads, which truthfully has posed a problem with me as a mother in a home with small kids and carpets and rugs!! I got her because she was going to be extra tiny and those are much harder yorkies to find, she is miniscule, probably wont top off at more than 2.5 pounds as a full grown adult, she was 1.8 pounds at her last visit. They really do not get cuter than this, she is a real doll. I tried to attach photos, but it says they exceed the size...so I will send them upon request. Sorry!!

				   | APR is an alternative registry not recognized by AKC. If you don't intend to breed which this baby is to small anyway then it's ok. The only thing is you really don't know the history/medical of the dog. I have a APR Malt.

I hope you find a good home for your baby. You may want to consider having her spayed prior to selling her so that she does not end up with someone who will try to breed her. There are those out there that will do this to produce tinies and they do not care whether the female is too small or not. Again, best of luck to you. Elaine

That has definitely been going through my mind...my vet wants to wait one more month to do it, so if she isn't in her perfect family by then I will do it. I think she could be done now though and could probably convince them to do it....I'm still thinking, haven't had anyone real serious yet... her mom was a rather big yorkie, and though I have never bred or know a whole lot about it...if someone thought to do it she carries genes to throw babies much bigger than her, so mix that with a dad who maybe had big parents and it could be tragic, or so it would seem. She is SO dainty and fragile it hurts me to just think about it, I will be as careful as I possibly can with this, thank you for the replies! As far as APR, I believe it is just a way to "register" a dog, nothing real special like the AKC, it doesnt provide much info, just a way to say you have registered dog I suppose.

i would love to see pictures too. I have a little three week old girl that is probably only going to be two or two and a half pounds grown so I would like to see what she will look like compared to your tiny baby.
