| Name for my puppy. Hey! This is my future dog (crosses fingers). This little boy is being checked out by the vet today, and if everything is well, he will be coming home to me on thursday! Anyways, I've been racking my brains to think of some cute original names. Originally I was planning on getting a little girl, so all the names I had were for females. Please post if you have any suggestions that you think suits this little boy. Much thanks. -Sheena |

| Bring him home and watch him and he will name himself. They are so good about that. I remember trying probably a dozen name on a boy once and none stuck. One day I saw him climbing up the X pen. I wanted a somewhat religious name and he named himself-Climbin Jacob's Ladder (an old hymn) with call name Jacob. Fit him to a T.. |

| Whisper's mom is right...they do sometimes have a way of naming themselves. Poor Mia had 3 names in less than a week, I tried Ellie then I tried Kylie and they just didn't work. So I tried Mia and she trotted over to me the first time I used it. As far as your little boy, I think he looks like a Mikey. I think boy names are harder to come up with.

| He is just the most adorable puppy. You must be very excited! Wow! I like to have a list of names and then wait until you see them in your home for a day or so and see their personality like a few others have sugested and then you will see what suits him. I like Hunter and all the ones you lites are cute. |

Ky Bridget did the same thing. I was going to name her Sadie, but and then princess Tia, but neither seemed to fit. I finally took a list of baby names found all the ones I liked and went into the front room and started naming them off to her and my hubby. Next thing we knew we had a Bridget in the house!! I guess I should take my own advice ehh, I pick up my baby boy on Thursday too!!
