| Rabies Shot....Anyone With this Problem? Otis got his rabies shot in October '03, and a few days later I noticed a hard bump the size of a quarter on his shoulder, the site where the shot was administered. I called the vet, and she said it was normal and could last anywhere up to three months. Well, we here are in February, five months later, and Otis's bump hasn't changed. We made another trip to the vet, and she said wait another three months. She said most likely, the bump is related to the rabies shot. Otis is fine...he doesn't flinch when we press on it, so I'm not too worried. Has anyone else had this experience? |

| From what I've found doing a bit of research, this may be normal. It usually does go away though and it's definitely a good sign Otis doesn't flinch when you press on it. |

That's the main concern, that he's not in pain. The only thing that's kinda bothering me is that he's losing hair in that area. | |
