| NE Florida Meet-Up? Hi there! Bender and I live in Jacksonville, FL, and Bender is becoming very social now that he's made a few friends! I saw that there is a south Florida meetup, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting around Jacksonville/Gainesville or some other Northernish Florida city? I was thinking sometime the beginning of December for a "holiday season" meeting. |

| Hi. I'm Judy and I live in Jacksonville too. I have two yorkies, Chloe and Lacey and we definitely would be interested in meeting. To my knowledge, I think we are the only NE Fl residents on this site. I hope I'm wrong. |

| Hey! Well if we're the only ones, maybe it would be better to just make play dates, which Bender and I are totally up for! We just moved to Jax from Vienna, and even though my hometown is Orange Park I don't know many doggy-friendly spots in Jax, so maybe you can suggest a park or some other place that likes dogs |

| If you want to do a meetup, my house is perfect. I live across the Buckman Bridge, off SR13 and have a house on one acre of land, with a fenced backyard. Plenty of room for play. I heard there was a dogwalk park somewhere in Orange Park but have not been. There is one in Southside that I joined before I fenced my backyard. It's pretty nice and would cost $10 for a one day visit. I'm up for either one and I'm willing to drive half way somewhere if other areas of Fl are interested. |

I know moose and lil bear and I can't wait, Moose needs all the socialization she can get...still a bit of a scaredy cat around strange dogs.

| all my weekends are free, very sad I have no life. The only time I do know I won't be able to do a meet up would be the weekend before and after Dec. 11. Going to willamsburg... I love that place

| Since we are supposed to have rain this weekend due to hurricane activity, how about next Sat., the 29th? It's been cooler in the a.m. but I'm good for just about any time. It does get a little warm during the day but a.m. this week has been lovely. I'm a little concerned about dog flu as well, so I'm happy to host. I'm so excited, I thought I was the only one in NE Fl. Anyone who wants to come is welcome. I'll arrange for lunch and drinks, just bring your little ones. Please let me know who is coming though, so I will have enough food and what time you prefer. If that Sat isn't good, give me some alternate dates. |

| Well I'm not too sure who's more excited moose and lil bear or my dad I called from work yesterday to tell him to put it on the calandar and I got lots of questions when I got home. It will be myself and my mom and dad and the two pups. My mom will be iffy till probably that morning. She suffers from migraines 24-7 and sometimes we don't know if a really nasty one will hit. I'll bring a dessert, halloween inspired of course, any like, dislikes, or food allergies. And I will be making doggie treats from the pups, so I need to know how many pups will be there. I can't wait.

| I live in Tallahassee and would love to meet other Yorkie lovers. Asia and I are already going camping the weekend of Oct. 29. Helen where w. of T-town do you live? Maybe we can meet up and let the babies play. Asia loves to play with other Yorkies. |

| OK, the 29th it is, perhaps next time we can drive toward Tallahassee and meet in between. Say 10:00 until 1:30 or when anyone wants to leave. Let me know who is coming. I have migraines too so tell your mom she can pick a bed if she's ill, I know the feeling. I have two yorkies, Chloe and Lacey. |

| Sounds great. I can't wait, I've already told my mom not to too much to overexert herself on the thurs of fri before. And the time is great with me, that way mom can have her meds in and working.

| Bender and I will be there I can't say 100% because I start a new job Monday and while my schedule is Mon-Fri they said sometimes they will call me in on weekends. My mother will almost surely be there with me, and she will bring her dog She is only going to bring Carrick the 1st, (Bender technically being Carrick the second with a name change...but that's another story). She has another yorkie named Simon, but he gets jealous very easily and turns kinda mean, so I think it's best Simon sits this one out |
