| Recipe for doggie birthday cake There seems to be alot of furkids on here with upcoming birthday's. I thought I would share this Ingredients: 1 cup white or whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup cooking oil 1 cup shredded carrots 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/3 cup honey (optional) 1 egg Mix the dry ingredients. Add the remaining ingredients and mix quickly. Bake in a greased ring mold at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. You may frost this cake with low fat cottage cheese and decorate with some carrot pieces. Store in the refrigerator. (Dogs will eat this without the honey added)

| Sounds like a great recipe. Is there anything else besides peanut butter that you could put in it? I would love to make it for Sadie and Maddie, but Maddie is allergic to peanuts. I always feel so bad because she LOVES peanut butter. If anyone can think of something to substitute the peanut butter with, please let me know. |

| Maybe yogurt would be good as the frosting too. Sounds really good. I'm sure my girls would gobble it up. |
