He's cute !!! Please try to find him a home before putting him in Rescue - It sounds like you have lots of offers and he's adorable - sorry about your husbands mom ...that's very sad.

What a sweet little boy!!! I live in Ohio, so I wish I could help you out!! But if all else fails, please to PM me before putting him in a rescue. I think he is simply adorable and would love to have him!!! There do seem like many people on here who are willing to help you!!!!

Iam just seeing this post...I will be in Fl. in a month...please don't put him in rescue I will pay to ship him if no one else is able to get him and care for him...I have a 6 month old male and I couldn't bear the thought of that puppy being all by himself..please pm me if need be and I will provide him a great home!!!
