| volunteering/kids Today I decided to go buy some nurses tops and pants and and go to Childrens hospital. I use to volunteer to spend time with the kids a few years ago, and this morning a nurse that I got to know rather well called and asked it I wanted to do more volunteer work. I spent 3 hours reading stories, showing pics of my wittle babies, huggy, playing games, and etc. with the kids. I enjoyed it so much I'm going back Wed. The reason I bought the nurse get up is because some of the kids are a little scared of the nurses and this just lets them realize the nurses aren't all about, shots, IV's, and temps. Anyway, I so wish I could get pictures, but the privacy thing doesn't allow it.

| i respect you a lot for what you are doing.... me... i wont set foot in the childrens ward at the hospital anymore... You see, My neice had leukemia and she didnt make it.... she had a marrow transplant and lasted three and a half years (she was diagnosed with it at the age of two weeks), I've walked into the childrens area once since then and it was horrible, it brought back to many memories. . . |
