| Why do they stick there tongues out? Just wondering why I see so many cute yorkie tongues when they are relaxed. Deuce started doing this as he grew older. He has his teeth so I just wonder why it developed. He usually does it when he's "in the zone".

| Callie does it when she has been sedated and Penny does it sometimes when she is sleeping. Some sources say its to help them regulate their body temp.

| You have no idea how many times I have thought about starting a RBF thread about this. Sadie always sticks just the tip out when she is relaxed. It is too cute! |

| When Tibbe is happy and contented or very absorbed, out pops the tip of his tiny tongue! He's SO cute! He's so dear to me.

| Tbh... one can't be a 100% certain because my dogs do that in all situations, calm, cold, sleepy, happy, sad, warm, etc. Might just be a compulsive thing... I could ask my vet the next time i see him but that will be a while. |

| Lacie doesn't generally stick her tongue out, but Lollie does when she is happy and relaxed. Just the tip and it is adorable! |
