| How Big will my Yorkie Get Hi: My Gussie is almost 5 months old and weighs just about 6 lbs! He seems to have gained a lb per month. Will he slow down now? How big do you think he will be? When do they stop growing? He seems to have gotten taller and filled out more rather than got longer... Please give me feedback...

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yorkies are usually considered full grown at about 6 mths, so your kiddo will probably not get much bigger...maybe fill in a bit, but not too much bigger.

| I didnt realize that they were considered full grown at 6 months.. I thought he was going to be huge since he weighed so much already. Thank you for replying. Do you remember how much your weighed at 5 months old? How much does he/she weigh now?

One guesstimate that is used (but not always accurate) is to double your kiddo's weight at 12 weeks or triple it at 8 weeks, and it might give you a ballpark idea of adult weight. But like I said, it's not always accurate.
