Dogs OR babies..? Why do so many here call their yorkies their ''babies''? Just wondering :p I wouldn't own dogs if they looked like babies :D |
LOL Georgie is so much more to me then a dog. I have a child and I can say I love both of my babies both furry and not so furry:D |
hehehe they not dogs..they babies.. they will even whine like a baby when they want something. |
It's a term of endearment to many. |
I think I mentioned this before, but I will repeat..... My daughter, the spoiled 28 year old that she is, said to me "You care more about those dogs then you do me" (after I told her no money)....I said "Jodie that's not true, I love you all the same"....she hung up on me!!! |
About 3 years ago I would have said the same as OP;)but trust me, Tyson is my baby! I have a non furry child too, and Tyson is loved the same! |

I'm 20 and although I've been in a loving relationship for nearly 5 years, we are not ready for a skinbaby!! So Luma is our baby! Even after I have a skin child, she will always be special. She was my first :p When we first got her my bf would get mad when I called her my daughter or said hes the daddy...now he cradles her in his arms like a baby and whispers how daddy loves Luma...til she falls asleep in his arms :D then he refuses to get up and disturb her because "the baby is sleeping" |
2 Attachment(s) Lol, the only word that drives me somewhat nutters is furbabies or skin child (referring to human babies). I know, I know, no harm, whatever, but for some reason it weirds me out. When I think of a skin baby, I think of this: Attachment 378865 LoL... And furbabies reminds me of furby's. Attachment 378866 I guess I've said before "he's my baby" to people who mention things like "omg you take so many pictures of your dog!" (Lol, believe me, I've heard it before, and it's true :D) and I'll reply with "oh he's my baby!" but in general, I don't really refer to him as anything. |

that is one fugly skin kid i must say my daughter doesnt resemble that at all!! haha. i prefer to just call them babies..i tried the skin/furr it doest stick for me so much. my daughter thought i was referring to an alien when i said skin kid! hahahha. |
I call Troy "the baby." My daughter calls him her brother. It's an endearment term and honestly he is just like my child. I pay for his food, heathcare and shelter. He gets spoiled just as much as my daughter. I just wish I could file him on my taxes with my daughter.;) |
these days, i often prefer my 4-legged baby over my 2-legged one! (teenagers...:panic:) |
