I'm going to the fabric store.... So I wanted to know if there were any specific color/patterns you guys would like to see as far as blankets, pillows, and toys. I already have a few things that I know I will be getting (mostly bright colors, since the winter is comming-- gotta keep our furbabies spirits up!). I would also like to be able to offer matching sets, so I was thinking of doing zebra and leopards sets for girls. They could be made with a hot pink backing for girls and a bright blue backing for boys. (with toys to match as well) I'm definately going to be searching for polkadots. Are there any specific colors you would like to see? (I saw a wonderful multi-colored fabric, but it's a little too girly for the boys. lol) Also, I will be looking for some xmas/winter fabrics. Let me know if you'd like to see lisenced prints (Hello Kitty, Pooh...) as apposed to unlicensed designs. I will also definately be offering simple red and green toys and blankets as well if there is enopugh interest. Thanks everyone! Your Opinions are greatly appreciated! As always, have a fashionable day! -Christina :animal-pa |
Christina - what kind of toys do you make? I'm always on the lookout for the indestructable ones as Angel is a MAJOR chewer and usually goes right through her toys in the first few minutes she has them!!! I'd be interested in anything durable, preferably with a trimmed edge out of leash fabric (it's her favorite). |
Argyle.....PINK or any colors!! I am really loving the brown/teal and brown/pink color combo. Toys....love tiny toys for my two, so if you make any on the smaller side, let me know!!! |
So far I have 4 set fleece toy designs. I'm working on a 5th design, but I need to get some squeekers first. My Mr. Biggs is a big time chewer.. especially with the fleece toys. I guess it's because they're soft, but I don't mind since it cleans his teeth :) So far the toys seem to be holding up very nicely. He's been playing with them non stop since i made them last week and they're still in one piece and look practically brand new! I can make the toys small or large (the large are thicker, so they're more durable). I'm going to try and get pics up this weekend (I have to stop by the fabric store first). |
Mojo isn't a chewer, but loves the small plush....Lily is more aggrassive with her toys, but so far has not destroyed any of them! When will your site be opened again?? |

I love the brown/teal and pink/brown idea! I love the pink and brown combo -I can't believe I forgot about it! I'm also going to be offering black/bright blue/lime green and black/pink/purple combos in toys. As for tiny toys, I'll definately be offering some on the smaller side! The larger toys will be a bit bigger and also thicker (they'll be good for the chewers). The smaller toys will be much thinner and easier for the little ones to manage --they'll be especailly good for puppies/smaller dogs! |

I also wanted to add that one of the toys is interactive! You can hold onto it at one end (It has a loop) and your baby grabs onto the braid/fringe at the other end. It also works well to slingshot across the yard. And for those of you with 2 babies, I have it as a double too! |
pmed you!! |
Like the toys,I didn't see prices on the toys though? Great job on the site. |
Thanks :) I was still updating it this afternoon... Prices will be up within the hour. The toys range between $4 - $11. I'm still figuring out the pricing from the costs of the fabrics and the ammount of material used. **I'll also be offering special deals probably once a month like buy 2 balls get one free or 2 balls for $8 instead of $5 each type thing :) Any ideas you guys have are helpful, as I plan on offering special items for YT members only :) *also, I will be posting another thread later this week to get feedback on the christmas fabric I found. |
