Winter Jackets 3 Attachment(s) Hi guys, I made up this new design tonight because my little Miss Emma needed a new winter coat :p. I loved it so much I'm thinking about making a few more in different styles. I'm just curious those of your babies that wear coats - what style do you prefer? All fleece? Fleece with a quilted layer like the one I made for Emma? Do you guys prefer fancier styles with ribbons or embellishments, or more casual, yet dressy ones like the one I have made? Any opinions are welcome! Thanks! |
2 Attachment(s) One more example to add -- Miss M was NOT happy I woke her up to take this picture, but I think she looks adorable :p |
I like them I like the one lined with fleece because I live upstate in the cold. I would like the material a little darker and it would be for two girls. I really like these they are easy to put on and talk off. The snow flys here early and the cold to. Different sizes. I really do like them and would buy them just the color would have to be darker but love them.. |
Sonja from Pocomutt made Wrigley and Crosley's coats last year quilted like that and lined with fleece. They are pink and have their names on the back. They are really cute and warm! I think lined is really nice if you live where it's cold. Our coats have hoods lined with fur around it. |
That is really cute. I like that it covers the belly. I always worry about their underside getting too cold and wet on the grass. |
Those are really cute. I like both, casual & a little fancy but I like the ones you've made, a little more casual for everyday wear, especially now since it's starting to get cold....I would only use the more fancier/dressy ones for special occasions so wouldn't use it as much...:) They're really cute! Good job! Does this mean you'll be making more?? :D |
Those are beautiful, however I know for many of us who love in snow in the winter, it is more of a fall jacket because for Layla I want her arms and belly covered. But i LOVE the fancy ones!!!! |
Fleece is alot warmer. But we have alot more covered as we get lots of snow and they usually love to play outside till they can't stand it. Usually that is ice frozen to there little fur and then we come in and use a town to stand on and a blow dry to deice them....ha ha But those are cute just need more around the belly and arms. I like casual for potty trips and then fancier ones wen we are out and showing them off. |
For dog coats I like something that is lined in fleece for warmth, but has a more water resistent material on the top layer so the fleece doesn't get wet and cold... I also like their coats to have a little bit of a sleeve in the front and cover their chest. I have two little boys, so they don't require fancy embellishments :-) |
I like both fancy and casual and your coats are very pretty. I think a must for me is a d-ring so I can quickly throw Zoe out to go potty. :p |
Thanks for the opinions guys -- keep 'em coming. We always layer pjs under our jackets so that's probably why I didn't think to make sleeves :-p. It's the only thing that keeps my babies snow ball free haha! :) |
Wow, those are really nice. Would you be able to add a D-ring? |

Really like them , love the quilted material , would be just perfect with a D ring or a space to attach leash to harness underneath.:D |
