Rainbow Bridge Charm question If you don't know, I have just started making charms using photos of the pets we love. I believe that one of the most meaningful reasons for people to order charms is to honor the memory of those precious furbabies who have crossed the rainbow bridge. Here's my problem. I would like to spread the word that I make this sort of charm, and I need examples to show people. I don't want to ask anyone specifically because it might be too painful for them, or they might not understand my purpose. Most of you know me by now. I would never want to make anyone uncomfortable or exploit the tragic loss of your precious pet. So, if I could use that image in my listings, I would be honored to make a charm for you at no cost to you at all. I will even pay for the shipping. If this request is in poor taste, I am very sorry. I just don't know how to ask this question. Thank you for your time and attention. Unfortunately, I can only use a few examples, so I will only be able to offer this to a select few. |
Judy what a sweet and nice thing to do. I know many who have lost will love to have a charm that they can carry wherever they go to remember their babies and show their sweet faces to everyone. I dont' think this is in poor taste at all. |
Thank you. I appreciate that, Marci. :) |
I think it is a great rememberance of our babies that have left us. You can use Dixie's pic as an example and you don't need to send me one free. Just let me know and I will try and find a good pic of her. Unfortunately I only had her for 5 weeks so I don't have a lot of pics of her so if you get other responses with better pics I understand. |
Oh Patti! You're so sweet. I remember little Miss Dixie. She was such a little darling. I'm sorry she was with you for such a short time. :( Would you see what you can find? Please send me a pm, and we can discuss it some more. Thank you. |
Judy I do not think there is anything wrong with you making charms at all for people to remember loved and lost dogs.. post a picture for us to see.. it is not in poor taste at all... anne |
Aww Judy.. I would be honored if you want to put Grizzley Bear on one of your charms for your advertisement. I can e-mail you a picture or if you can capture the picture in the avatar. I don't mind at all. What an excellent idea. If you want to make me one. I would gladly pay for it. I would love to be your customer. :D Hugs, Mary |
Thank you, but that's the problem. I can't bring myself to even ask anyone if I can use their baby's photo in public to show people. Patti has volunteered Dixie's photos, but I haven't had time to make those yet. I will gladly share when I have permission from someone. Thanks for asking. :) |

Judy, I just sent you a pm. |
Thank you all! I would be honored to use the photos of all of the furbabies here. Thank you! I have sent pm's to you, and I can't thank you enough. I have enough volunteers for now. Thank you! It's nice to know that no one will be offended. I'm going to ask that this thread be closed now. I appreciate the support. |
It would also be a honor to us to use a pic of my baby girl Lilly. No need for a charm either. I can see her image everyday as I hold her very close to my heart. I have pics of her in our dogster page. I only have a few of her because I had her for 1 month. Let me know if the pics on dogster will help if not I'll email you a pic. |
Thank you, sweetie. I will go look at her photos in the morning. I'm sorry she was with you for such a short time. How awful. :( |
Lilly was so precious! I just remembered that she was one of Gizmo's first pals on Dogster. I remember what a tough time you had. |
