Belly Bands Needed I have to admit I had never heard of belly bands until I joined YT. I have a little male, Snickers. He is 3.2 pounds and loves to mark everywhere! I would like to purchase a couple. I went back on here and searched and there is a lot of talk about what is good, what is better, etc. Most seem to think the satin ones are best. Could someone out there who knows who/where to order them get in touch with me so I can get some.....soon! Thanks! |
We've used the belly bands, but lately, we've just been using premmie diapers. My little guy is 3 pounds and they fit great!:) |
What is the difference between different materials? |
belly bands The one's I used were great, not bulky at all. Eventually they do not like the band being wet.. go to www.markout.com I phoned them and they helped me with what I needed. the one with the directions is great. You get 4 belling bands in the small size..You might find some one who wants to split with you and have two each. pooh's mum |
Has he been neutered? If not, and he isn't going to be used to be bred, you should check in to having him neutered..actually before he matured and started marking, would have been the ideal way to have done it..once they hit maturity, and start marking, it will continue being that way..:( |
He was my stud. So no he is not neutered. He is going to be very soon as he is not producing what I want. so yes he will be neutered. He was 7 months old when we got him and did not know what grass was. Sad but true, he is trained now with belly bands from mark out. pooh's mum |
I got some cute belly bands for a reasonable price at go.fetch.com........very happy with them! |
I wish you lots of luck...I bought belly bands for my daughters dog, but, he kept peeing in them..:( |
Rocco was fixed at 6 months old and didn't start marking till he was 2,sometimes it makes no difference. Quote:

Rusty isn't neutered yet, but will be soon. Our problem isn't marking, its that he will pee while walking and leave a trail behind him. even when he goes on the pad, he will either walk there or away still peeing. |
I PM you about Markout. Cozmo is almost 2 years and marks everything, and anything. He is getting fixed next Wed but Vet doesn't think that will ever stop. This what he was taught. To mark not Potty. Quote:

I have trained as many boys as I have girls..some girls can be bad..but boys need to learn and they can..but more patience I think. I am not sure if I took my boy into some one else's house what he would do. But at home unless he cannot get out he goes outside..but we also have a doggie door which does help. I think he was the hardest to train. pooh's mum |
