GREAT! I can have so much fun that way! I can buy some of the items and make some of the items....goody,goody!!! |
Glad you started this post I, too, want to join in on the next YT gift exchange, but was a little bit nervous about the exchange. I am worried that my gifts may not live up to the others. It looks like most people get quite a spread! I would hate for someone and their baby to be disappointed! I am really not that crafty--except in the cooking dept., so all my stuff would have to be bought. I think I will go ahead and make my donation, after payday, and join in on the next exchange--I will only be able to do one doggie this time, even though I now I have two. Is that OKAY?????  |

more than one Kissy did the last GE and it was our first one. It was a blast! We had so much fun getting all the goodies together for our SB. There are some very clever YT'ers here and we had NO idea what to expect. We had a GREAT SB and Kissy just knew that it was her special day. Angel will be in the next one and the Princess in the next. I am just doing one at a time so that isn't a problem. Sign up is next month so be sure and don't miss the thread to sign up!! :D Have fun with it!! |
Regifting How about regifting. Would that be a non-no? I have not received anything to regift, but perhaps someone has. |
Trust me no one wants a handmade anything from me. LOL I think it's important to make sure you acknowledge the effort your GE buddy went to and to thank them and post pictures. I agree with what someone said. It's disappointing to have your buddy say got it post later and then never hear from them again about it. I don't think there is such a thing as a bad gift, but there is a bad response. Make sure to respond appropriately. I think it's also important to make sure you follow your buddy's wish list when it comes to sizes etc. Don't send an xs when your buddy is a medium. As for regifting, i'm on the fence. Alphy has gotten a couple of things that didn't fit. My thought is they are new and I can't use them so why not be able to pass them on to someone who can, but then again, I feel weird about it. |
You guys are making me soo excited for the next one!! :D |

I know that sometimes, our beloved babies don't like something and won't play with it or something might be too small or big...in that case, I don't see the harm in the re-gifting of it, as it is still new. That would be up to your judgement though. |

I ditto just about what everyone else has said... #1.....Have fun and don't stress! #2....please post pictures (if able) and a detailed list of what you got. If no pictures, the detailed list helps us picture what was received. A detailed list also tells everyone what the sender sent, whereas pictures don't show everything. #3....Remember to say thank you! So important. #4....Try to go off the list that your GE buddy filled out. They know what they have and don't need and what their babies won't play with or eat, etc. You don't have to get everything on the list, but try to follow it. Surprises are always nice too. #5....Don't forget to send Admin your shipping information AFTER you fill our your GE info. (I seem to always forget if I have sent it or not....plus, I have to let our GE know that FedEx doesn't deliver out here) #6. Don't forget to send Admin your shipping/tracking/insurance information after you mailed off your GE package! I think that is just about it. |
Thanks! That answers so many of the questions I didn't even know I had! This looks like a lot of fun, and I can't wait to participate in this one. :) |
Videos are great too! I love seeing the action as it happens! LOL! |
I WOULD LOVE a handmade gift from you. So if you wind up as my GE buddy on the giver side and I am the givee -- I will EXPECT :D a handmade something or other included. Quote:
