Hi my GE buddy.. this is Layla! my mommy said we are just waiting on one more thing and then we are shipping off your package! she let me look inside your box and i gotta say, i'm pretty jealous! Last night mommy whipped together this blanket because we want our GE buddy to remember his friends in Canada :) (so obviously this isn't going to any little pup in Canada ;) )she is making me one too!! yippee!!! i love the soft blankets in my crate at night and we hope you like it too!! here are some pictures to keep you waiting until we ship it :)

Hey. i actually made it.. just got the fabric (fleece) at FabricLand... Layla is going to be nice and cozy in her's on July 1st :)

so you want more hints huh.. ok so obviously a boy... he isn't very old.. and is a tiny little guy... and he lives somewhere that starts with a letter from the last half of the alphabet :p and layla thinks he is a major cutie ;)

For the tie blankets, do you just cut notches all around the edges & then tie the little "tabs" from the other piece of fabric to it?

I'd really like to copy your idea for my buddy ;) If that's okay :)

totally ok :) it's really easy and such a nice gift.. yes cut notches.. the skinnier they are the easier to tie.. and be sure to not make them too short... and don't cut right to the edge... cut around the corner .. you know?? lol... it's hard to explain.. just be sure you don't cut RIGHt to the edge because then you'll turn the corner and be left with this werid square on the end... good luck and lets' see it when you are done!!

Those are some adorable pictures. I love how Lyla is eyeing the box. She "know" there are nice goodies in it and can't understand why you don't let her have them. :D I LOVE that blanket. Great job! :thumbup:

the canada blanket is such a good idea!!!!!! I should have totally dont taht with the taiwan flag.. iunno where i'd find that tho and i'm not very good at making things .... but its the thought right? ... wahahaha ideas for the next GE huh? ;)

the box is now on the dining room table and it is KILLING her... those darn soccer balls are the highlight of her day and she saw the one in there.. and it is ALL she can think about.. i'm so glad i can pass on the joy of the soccer ball to someone else :rolleyes: i hope our GE buddy is as nuts about it as layla is!!
