Ours got shipped yesterday. Though we're not usually quite as cold at you guys - we are in that cold belt also.

I love the GE so much that I usually start shopping now for the next one. So, we're pretty ready to go, other than personalizing, when we get our buddy's name. And, I'm not good at being patient - so we get ours out right away in the hope that maybe we won't be last to get ours!!

We won't be the first. One of our Buddy's special items was lost by the airlines in some luggage. We are hoping they find it. If not, we will have to ship with an IOU. We still have a few items left to purchase.

From Thompson, Manitoba. Its about 800 km's north of Winnipeg. We get really cold temps up here. Last winter, we had the distinct pleasure of being the coldest place on the planet :eek:. It was -47c and witht he wind chill -55c. It was reallllllllllllllly cold!

Yeesh! It was that cold here a few years ago. Thank God spring is coming!!!

We had SO many of those days this winter...UGH! I think we were 40 or more below for two weeks straight!!! :thumbdown

Oh Leslie, that would be awful!!!!! I lived in Saskatoon for a number of years and remember those super cold winter days. I certainly don't miss that! We get a lot of snow and some cold here, but nothing like you.

It does get pretty brutal but I can say all the snow is gone, the sun is out and Bailey and Tia are enjoying grass again! I love Saskatoon. I was there last May and stayed in the Raddison right on the river. That park was beautiful!

I actually got Bailey and Tia froma breeder in Saskatchewan, in Glaslyn, about 50 KM from North Battleford. Always amazed at the small world we live in!
