I hope I'm the only unlucky one out there. It really sucks when you have spent so much money and time to make a gift right and can't even get a thank you.

I had the same thing happen to me a few exchanges back so I can truthfully tell you, I know how you feel!! :( Fortunately, I sent it and required a signature so I know it was received! Even a little note saying "Got the krap and hated it"! would've been better than no acknowledgement at all!!! ;)

There was someone on here that said they had had a death in the family and had to go out of town for a bit. They said they didn't want their secret pal to feel unappreciated. Maybe this is the person you had? I'm sorry that you haven't recieved a thank you yet. It feels really crappy when you go out of your way to make someone feel good, and you don't get anything in return. Maybe your thank you is on it's way. I hope so.

There was a mix-up with my gift, too. Apparently the post office thinks I got it and I didn't. Maybe there is a problem like that with yours, too.

NO, its not her. This person has even read both pm and still nothing, they have even commented me that they were glad Maddie liked her stuff...still no comment. I think she is mad cause I contacted adm. - oh well. She seems to have this pattern!!

No...she had said in my post about me forgetting the card that she received it but hadnt opened it and didnt even say thanks then

I had it happen to me once too, it was not nice. They told admin and me they were out of town when it was sent but had since received it and would post a thank you the next few days but never did. That person doesn't come to YT very often now but back then would come here and lurk everyday. They had time to lurk but not take a few moments to say thank you. :thumbdown

That's too bad Denise!! I know I saw where she got it, but never said a thank you or posted pics like she said she would. I did see where she thanked the other two, but she said she would post pics of them too and hasn't yet. She has posted other pictures so it can't be her camera. I hope she just forgot the pictures and thought she had thanked you. Your first GE didn't turn out as well as you expected, I'm sorry.

I was wondering about this Denise. Man that is just not right and I hope ADM banns her from anymore GE.

Awwww, I'm sorry you haven't gotten a simple thank you. :( I thought it was a rule that you have to post a thank you? Even if it's not a GE rule, it's simple common courtesy!!

They told me she would be band so I hope she is cause its just not fair. I see some of the other people she thanks, but never mentioned by they got her or even posted pics like she said she would...oh well... We all know not everyone on here is like that...lol

Oh Denisse, This would be any decent person's nightmare... :( I am so sorry that you had to get such an ungrateful GE buddy. Oh, I'm sorry too Denise. Half of the fun is seeing (or at least reading) what everyone got. I didn't participate in this GE but I did the last one, and I know that I spent alot of time trying to put together something special and I would have just been so crushed if I hadn't gotten a "Thank You" (which I did). I really don't understand why someone wouldn't be able to just post a simple "Thank You". :thumbdown

One reason I didn't participate in this GE is because I still haven't figured out how to post pictures and I thought it wouldn't be fair until I could. I had already picked up some Valentine's items... but that's ok there'll be another one. I sure hope this doesn't detour you from participating in another GE cuz there are still alot of us that would have loved to had you as our GE Pal.

I am so sorry that this person has not posted a thank you or pics. Little Maddie deserves better than that!!!:( But you are so right that not everyone on here is like that. AprilLove wants you to know that she would love to have Maddie as her bduddy next time.
