I think around Valentine's is the next one sign ups in January??

cool i want to check everyday so i know i wont miss this one, its sounds fun. i love getting little surprise gifts.even though i know im getting it i dont know when thats the exciting fun part.

I had a blast this was our first and giving is so much fun!!

We LOVE YT gift exchanges!!! They are a blast! My first one, I didn't really know what to get and had a hard time finding things.....now, I have a tub of stuff that I buy through out the year (when I can and find something good).

I think the Valentine's one (last year) we were paired up w/ boys/girls, etc. It was fun!

Looking forward to it!

I put a note in mine with Grayson's picture, that is usually when you find out is when you get your gift and then you post a thank you and we all loved looking at the pictures of what everyone got!

I have participated in all of them since I joined except this last one. I have too many birthdays in Nov and Dec and then with Christmas I just couldn't afford to do this last one. I can't wait for the next one either. They are loads of fun!!!!!

You should find out when the gift comes. However, if the sender used their real name on the return address and did not include their YT name, it is as good as a secret unless you have run across the name before.

True.......I forgot to include my YT name and it was a mistery.........lol

This week I ordered a YorkieTalk Calender and sent a donation to Yorkietalk. I did not know all the advantages of being a Donating Member untill I signed up. I just wanted to support a wonderful site and get a calender. I must admit one altereative motive for donating: To have a chance of one of my Yorkies being on the 2008 calender one has to be a donating member and now i'm reading about the gift exchange, wow 2007 sounds great and so much fun, my other groups im on might not be hearing from me so much. LOL

When it is time for the next exchange, admin will post in this thread (the gift exchange thread) - that way, we can all read the rules/exchange information/etc. So I have been keeping my eye on this thread!!!

One rule is that you always post when you receive your gift, so that everyone can see what you got (if you add pictures) and to say thank you to your buddy! So, it is really fun to see and hear about what everyone got and who sent their gift to who.

Most people include a card or note (unless they forget - I have done that), so you pretty much know who it is from. If you get your package and still do not know who it was from, you can also PM admin and they can tell you, so you can post your thank you's. OR when you post your thank you's, you can just state that you do not know who it was from and the sender will more than likely see your post and let you know. Either way, it is fun - the suspense!!! hee,hee

Another thing too, you never know who you are going to get. I have gotten boys the whole time, but that isn't because I have a boy - it is just picked by the computer. I do remember that I had a girl (Schatzie) for our Valentine's Day one last year - but I think it is picked boy/girl for that one (if we do that again this year).

Anyway, the gift exchanges are fun! We can't wait!!!
