Yea, I read that also..on the same post that admin announced the winners for posting on the 500,000 post day.. |
what I remember reading was that if you are not a donating member and haven't done the exchange yet...you could pay some sort of deposit that you would get back as long as you sent the gift. I may be wrong though... |
I read that they are no longer accepting deposits for the gift exchange because of several problems, and the only way you can participate is if you're a donating member. |
that's too bad that they had so many problems. I guess I will just have to donate!:) |
i would love to do the exchange in the uk! i have never done 1 before,do i have to pay a deposit or something as im new to exchanging? (i think i read it somewhere) |
We have updated the Gift Exchange Rules as well as opened up for signups. Please see: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27032 |
so that means i cant even join in ? only people that have given money ? |
anyone out there lol ? |
Yes, as the rules state for eligibility to be a part of the Gift Exchange: Eligibility - The Gift Exchange is open to all Donating Members that have donated $20 or more to YorkieTalk. (If you want to enter two Yorkies into a Gift Exchange, you will need to have donated $40 or more). This will allow you to participate in the YT Gift Exchange as long as YT does Gift Exchanges. We require this now because there are certain former YT members that DID NOT mail out a Gift in previous Gift Exchanges while they did accept a gift. This is totally unfair and unjust, especially with all the effort, time, and energy everyone in the Gift Exchange has given. |
thats unfair to people that did send out there giftnot everyone can afford a extra 20 - 40 dollars plus the gifts /shipping |
