Looking forward to Participating
 
I dont know when the next Exchange is, but I am looking forward to joining in the fun in the future. Sounds like a lot of fun. I havnt been a member of YT for a full month just yet, but getting close. Im sure by the time the next exchange comes about I will have. :p

You have to be a member for 3 full months before you can participate.

I wonder when the next exchange will be. After being in 3 or 4 of them I think we've retired from GEs but theyre still so fun to watch. :)

Oh , did they change the rules? because the rules I read when donating said I only had to be a member for a month and 250 post and a 25 dollar donater.

Here is what the thank you letter I got from the administration said about it......

"If you donated $25 or more, you can now have a larger avatar, up to 125 by 125 pixels (and 50kb in file size) and you also can participate in the YT Gift Exchanges (as long as you have been a YT member for one month or more and have 250 or more posts), which are held once every three months. A $25 donation allows you to enter one Yorkie per Gift Exchange forever!"

From the rules and regulations sticky:

Starting with the 18th YT GE (November 2009), we will be requiring members that participate to be on YorkieTalk at least three months and have at least 250 posts. This will not apply to the 17th YT GE because there are several members who have signed up in the past month asking about their eligibility in the upcoming GE and we have told them they are eligible for the next GE. So we believe it would be unfair to "change" the rules on them at this time.

I'd ask for a clarification from admin. Its possible his thank you letter was an outdated copy, from before 2009. The 3 month rule was still in effect when I joined in 2012 and I had to wait til another GE came around because of it.

got it. ok thanks. well I guess I wont be participating anytime soon then.
