Too bad that it was not as surprise, but I'm glad that you were our Secret Buddy. You are such a sweet young lady and Strudel is so stinking cute. And to think after all you went through to get to this point, I couldn't of asked for a better SB. The wait was well worth it. The gifts are all tailored around Ruby and there are even a couple special one for myself.

Yes I know, that dress was the inspiration for my profile page.

I love it, I saw it when Aymee posted it and within moments I was off to design my new page! :D

OMG Dawn, I just read all the threads...SB+ friends and Riana and Strudel, how truly wonderful! I'm touched by the simple gestures....you are truly very blessed!

I think its amazing that Riana even came back...I know how a death of a close relative, regardless of age, of health etc., is truly devestating...you seem to lose all sense of caring about anything and quite frankly the internet is one of the last things...enjoyment etc, in all those areas for some people go out the window...I suffered such devestation and even let a very important financial decision slip by and lost a ton of money, but I don't care it was what it was and emotionally I couldn't deal with anything....

I just wanted to say how happy I am for you that you have such wonderful people rallying around you and then Riana...truly you and your pup are blessed....I love happy stories.

Yay! So happy Ruby got her box! Geno giggled when he learned that his two dates were secret buddies :) So sad to hear about Riana's loss and I hope she's starting to feel a little better. I am really glad everyone came through. So cute! :)

Oh my, Im so sorry. A death in the family is always hard, we never know whether we are able to handle it or how we will handle it until it happens to us. I've been there myself and I can understand how Riana and yourself just let life happen without you. I can tell you, its hard to move on when the emptiness in our hearts still aces but it gets better with time. I do hope that both you and Riana are healing and can remember your loved ones in the way they would have wanted. With love and fond memories that keep them alive in our hearts.

Wow you really hit the nail on the head! It's nice to know someone can relate on a human level because the messages and posts I've read concerning this have not been so kind. You would think I was a murderer or child molested, not suffering the loss of my very best friend and woman who raised me, or suffering from car accident. I was actually told by one member that I should be over it by now,

But believe it or not, Rubys box was postponed mainly due to her bed. I had ordered a handmade bed that was promised to be finished and sent by the 24th....um I still don't have the stupid thing!!! $$out the window lol!!! So then I had to find another one I liked and order that. I am just happy dawn liked it I was unsure because it was pink :)
