Okay, so I know not everyone has a box yet but I figured I would start a thread so that we can all have a place to explain our clues! Only do so if your SB has your box, of course! ;)

I will write out all my clues in a following post and explain how they related to my SB. I have to admit, I tried so hard to be sneaky I started confusing MYSELF somewhere along the lines HA HA!!

I explained my clues on the thread Lori started but I will repost here shortly. Great idea Carmen:)

All of my clues were confusingly legal and based on a fragment of truth :D:D:D

Hint #1: I wud like to have a playdate with my buddy! We wud play wif lots of toys! Brody loves toys...has LOTS of them, plus I used the word "date" referring to the fact that Brody is Luma's BF ;)

Hint #2: Pic of kitty infront of Colosseum- The cat was a distraction...I read somewhere on YT that Sarah's favorite food is pizza, which is Italian..the Colosseum is in Rome, Italy. LOL I know, it's a bit of a stretch but I really wanted to confuse her!

Hint #3: I am an only-child. SB, you are NOT! Brody has a beautiful sister, Sophia!

Hint #4: Newspaper clipping pic- I used a newspaper headline generator to create a story titled "It's a Girl!" to confuse them. I made up a story about a woman from Virginia...Sarah is from Virginia. :) Also, newspapers are black and white, just like Brody's handsome parti coloring! :love:

Hint #5: My SB's mama signed up before my mama Okay, Sarah signed up for the GE after me, so when she saw this I think she eliminated herself for sure. However...I never specified WHAT our SB's mom signed up for...Sarah signed up for Yorkietalk before I did ;) LOL.

Unofficial hints:
The theme of your box is.........something to do tails! The theme of our box was Ravens Tailgate Party. Brody and his mommy are big Ravens fans.

Luma will finally have a sibling just like you, buddy! Referring to the fact that Brody is Sophia's younger sibling. :)

Can't wait to read all of these. I'll do mine later tonight probably.

And, yes - Lisa, you have some splainin to do! (I was convinced for a long time that Sugar Baby was Mandie's SB lol)

You too, lady!!!! I swore up and down Mandie was Luma's SB! 100%!!!

11. Elvis - Specifically, Elvis in the movie BLUE HAWAII
(he also was in GI Blues and sang Blue Suede Shoes and Blue Christmas) This is obvious now..Mack Brown is a BLUE BORN :)

13. This one was my trickiest I think. This is Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams (they were FATHER & SON) - And, Kendra - forgive me if I read incorrectly, but it is my understanding that Bevo and Mack are FATHER & SON...right?

16. This had 2 clues - The man is wearing BLUE and he has a WHITE beard. *All the Yorkies have beards but only BLUE BORN Mack's is WHITE*

17. This was my favorite clue!! This is a Gremlin (the type of car). I didn't want to be obvious and post a Gremlin from the movie.
*Gremlins can't be exposed to light and Macky has to be shielded from the light* ;) :D

FINAL CLUE:
This is a picture of the 1980 USA Hockey team from the Olympics. They were famous for the "MIRACLE ON ICE"
*Mack Brown is a special little MIRACLE boy. He survived an ordeal that even the vets aren't sure how he did. He has just turned 2 years old, also...something that is a very miraculous and special feat for a Blue Born*

Terri, those clues are AWESOME!!! Especially the last one :) So sweet. Now...the Runaway clue...that man looks so much like my dad!!! :eek: the yorkie getting its teeth brushed is wearing a scrunchie and luma wears those 99% of the time. The old man was skinny and tall like Luma. I swear I was 100% without a single doubt, convinced Mandie had Luma LOL ;) Guess the clues make sense now!!! You did a great job for a GE virgin!!! :eek:;)

hehe...it was fun trying to think of things that were specific but yet vague :D

I love love love every one's clues! As a side note Terri...I totally knew that was the miracle on ice team because one of the players is from my small town in northern Minnesota. He used to come to my elementary school and give talks to us kids and sign autographs...TOTALLY didn't get the miracle part as the clue though! Very good clues!

1.) my sb is a yorkie

well, that is because.... suprise ... my sb is a yorkie

2.) my sb lives north of me...

well, everyone in the ge is north of me.

3.) I looked up how long it would take to walk to my sb's house.. I posted that time.

4.) my sb went to the dance...well.. he was in the vd dance power point.

5.) last clue was Gloria.. a very famious Miami/cuban singer



It was really hard beause my sb lived in miami... I live in miami. Not a lot of room there ha ha
But I loved it.. and loved meeting my sb!!

Here are my clues and explanation:

Clue #1-I am older then you- I WAS THE OLDEST IN THIS GE

Clue #2-over the hills and through the woods-ALL I CAN THINK OF IS THE PA TURNPIKE AND THE HILLS AND WOODS

Clue #3-Mommy's favorite football player went to College in a State adjacent to yours-ROD WOODSON IS MY FAVORITE STEELERS PLAYER AND HE WENT TO PURDUE IN INDIANA

Clue #4-Naked Cowboy in NYC-HE IS FROM OHIO

Clue #5-You have a sibling or siblings...or maybe you want a sibling can't remember what Mommy said now Sowwy-I WAS SO EXCITED TO SHOP FOR IZZY, JACK, MR. POOPS, PEARL AND MILO

Clue #6-My SB's Mommy likes to drink the same things my Mommy does -TEA AND COFFEE I LOVE BOTH

Clue #7-Basket-IN A THREAD YOU MENTIONED A TOY BASKET FOR IZZY

Clue #6 My SB and their momma dwinks alot ! (alot of what..... ?) * Srudel's mom mentions several things that she enjoys drinking. Including tea & wine.

Clue #7 If youz are cute as a button and awe bewwy wuved by your mamma. * Well, Strudel is as cute as a button and is very loved by his mamma!

I apologize everyone, but I have been busy and hubby and I were out of town last weekend so I haven't been on here much. But here are my clues and answers:

Clue #1 - Izzy's secret buddy is super duper cute, very special and loved very much!

Georgie is super duper cute and very special with his battle against AAI and he is loved very much because his momma, Morgan, sought treatment for obtained surgery for him so he would be able to live a normal life.

Clue #2 from Izzy: My secret buddy lives in a state that is on a coast. It could be the Gulf Coast, the West Coast, the East Coast or one of the other two little known coasts in the USA, the Great Lakes Coast or the Mid West Coast. But Izzy couldn't stop there, she said it could also be the Canadian Coast, the European Coast, or any other coast that connects to some body of water or another body of land. I know, I tried to explain to her that coasts are generally abutting a body of water, but she must have been nervous about going to the vet and it didn't quite sink in. Do you think you could be her buddy???

I was trying very hard to be extremely vague and not eliminate anyone. But Georgie lives in Maryland – on the east coast.

Clue #3: My secret buddy and I haz sumtink in commonz.

It’s been so long ago that I can’t even remember what it was that we have in common; however, it apparently was not fur – see my response below to Morgan and Georgie’s post about our common ground.

Georgiez, I hatez to tellz you dis, but the sumtink in common I waz goingz for was not da furz. It waz sumtink else, but you iz still in the runninz.


Clue #4: Squeakers!

Morgan said Georgie loves squeaky toys (maybe that was what they had in common?!?)

Clue #5: Momma sez if we bisit our SB, we could travel there by plane or by car, but it too farz to walk.

True – we could travel to Maryland by all of those means of travel.

Clue #6: Momma sez if we bisit our SB, we would haz to use GPS, whateber that iz and that the needle on a compazz would point shootz, I forgotz, meh brudder kitty just ran acrozz da room and my ADD kicked in... she sez the needle would point N! Hmmm, no dat doesn't sound wite. Maybe it waz S! No... dat don't soundz wite either. W! Hmmm... no, no it was E! Oh sheez, darn brudder kitty...he couldn't sit stillz for 5 more secondz now could he? Oh well, it would point to one of dose... N, S, W or E. Iz you my SB?

I would definitely need GPS to find Georgie’s house and the compass would point SE. Again, I was trying not to eliminate anyone.


Clue #7 - My SB name startz with a letter that fallz somewherez between A - Z.

Again, trying not to eliminate anyone.

Clue#8 - Groundhog Day 2013: No shadow for Punxsutawney Phil, so spring iz around da corner. My SB livez somewhere dat iz predicted to has warmer than normal temperaturez next month or waz that much warmer, or colder? Darn all I can tink about iz dem good treatz my SB sent me and meh secwet squeeky stashy toy! Luv dem and love my SB!!!

I saw on a map that the north east part of the U.S.A. is supposed to have a warmer than normal March and that included Maryland. But still trying to not eliminate anyone.

Clue #9 - My SB has the biggest, most gorgeous brown eyes! Kind of like mine.

Georgie does have gorgeous brown eyes! Check out my avatar – you can see how big and gorgeous they are! But again, I was trying not to eliminate anyone and then Kendra popped in with the first elimination – I did not realize that Mack Brown’s eyes were not brown – Per Kendra, “Awwww.... Shucks. I'm out... Blue borns don't get big brown eyes... We get blue ones!! Well, green now! Lol

We can still be friends though!!”

Clue #10: Momma said dat the clue I can givez today iz dis: Hank Williams Jr. said it best. (But momma won't tell me what it was that Hank Williams Jr. said .)

And Morgan and Georgie answered, “Well I have big brown eyes but I don't know what Hank Williams Jr said aside from are you ready for some football??? So I consider myself still in because aside from our family....football is my Momma's first love ”

This is exactly what I was thinking! Hank Williams says it best, Are you ready for some football?!? And another thing that is funny, I love football, although my team is a rival of Morgan’s team LOL

Clue # 11:
Misc. Fruit Picture

I think I posted this one because Morgan said she like fruit smells on candles, etc. I was thinking of posting pictures of just grapes because Morgan said she like to drink wine also… but then I thought she would figure it out, so I posted the mixed fruit picture.

Clue #12: My SB momma may haz more or may haz less postz than my momma has... Who could my SB be???

Morgan has more posts than I do. And again, I was trying not to eliminate anyone.

Clue #13 - Okay, so we is wunning out of clues... so I borrowed dis one from someone else... sorry bout that. I saw my SB in the Valentine's Day Ball video and they were looking really good!

I am pretty certain I saw Georgie in the Valentine’s Day Video and if it was another Georgie, I apologize… 
