:eek: you had to drive 230 miles to get to a post office:eek::eek: oh my! |
????? You have some explaining to do on this one!! |
Lmao Kendra i didn't HAVE to drive 240 miles...I live in a small town in north western Minnesota and my dbf lives in the Twin Cities...I went down to see him this weekend and finish my box as half my crafting stuff is at the boyfriends! :) I. didn't realize that by doing using a post office down here it would cut off at least a day of shipping time!! |
I really thought you had to drive 240 miles to get to the nearest post office lol |
I thought that, too, Morgan! I was gonna say..what are you using there? Pony Express? :D |
LOL Morgan...the towns where I grew up and lived for 15 years are right on the US/Canadian border...literally I could see Canada out my door. Lots of friends I met from bigger cities shuddered when I told them I lived 100 miles from the nearest Target, Walmart, and shopping mall. In college days some wondered if we had indoor plumbing yet! :) |
Ha!!! Well, I guess that explains it! :) |

I now live in a town that is 30 minutes to everything...there is a grocery store in the town and two gas stations BUT everything closes by ten every night except the grocery store that closes at 7 during the weekdays and 3 on weekends...the other small towns were tourist towns...fishing resorts...so at least there were tons of restaurants and a couple stores open 24/7. I was so peeved the first week I lived in ada and I got an ice cream craving at 1030 at night...I was not driving 30 miles for a tub of ice cream!! :) Im getting very used to spending my weekends in the twin cities...nothing like conveniences!!! |
LOL I know all about those late night ice cream cravings:) We have an ice cream shop within walking distance ugh |
I keep thinking I want to live in a more rural area, but I was grocery shopping last night at 9:00 p.m. - wouldn't be able to do that in many rural areas. I always wanted to be a farm girl, but I guess the city live is really more my style. |

I live in a small town as well. We sit right in between Amarillo and Lubbock.... Both are an hour away... But, an hour anymore doesn't seem like very far! |
