When is the last day to join GE XXXI??? I WANT TO JOIN SO BADLY!!!!!!! But I'm waiting for permission for the Admin. I'm not sure if they will let me participate because I joined YT November 3, 2012 and you have to have been a member before November 1, 2012 .... I'm not sure if I will hear back with an answer in time to participate!!!! When is the last day you can join?? I feel like I am reading the sign-up thread wrong because I can't find a date for the last day to sign up anywhere.... |
I'm pretty sure it's January 31st. I'll go see if I can find it. How long ago did you PM Admin about it? ETA: Yup, this is a "copy and paste" from the sign-up thread: The signup period will end January 31, 2013 |
Oh thanks! I just kept looking & I just kept missing where that piece of information was lol ... and I messaged them a couple of days ago. I'm not really sure when. I didn't save the message to my sent box so I don't really know. Do you know how long it generally takes them to respond? I assume it might be a couple of days because of how busy they must be, but I had no idea. |

I think there was someone else who signed up after November 1...thought I saw that somewhere. If you don't hear from Admin by the deadline (as he's really, really busy) and if I were in your situation, I'd sign up... I don't think it's that big of a deal, personally. Of course, I didn't just say that so you can't point fingers... :D hee hee |

There was a GE a while back that I and another member really wanted to join. I was a couple weeks shy, but she was just a few days shy of the required join date. We were not allowed to join that GE :p It sucked but personally, in my case, I'm happy that I waited til this previous GE to sign up for the first time. I really got to know lots of people here and got to watch a couple GEs from the sidelines to see how it goes down. Although we would love to have you join this one!! :p I do hope admin okay's it! :) The more the merrier! You can sign up...but they may delete your post. Or they may let you join in the fun! I don't think it would hurt anything. |
Haha. You guys are most definitely right, there is no harm in trying! I'll have to just sign up tomorrow & wait and see if I get deleted. If not there is always the next one! |
