A lot of what you are reading comes from long time members who participated in early GE's which were fun and low key. As YT grew the expectations of the GE participants became greater and new things that were meant to be fun were introduced, such as hints and sending teaser gifts. The idea of giving a hint and/or sending a teaser gift is a fun idea until it became an unspoken mandatory. Unfortunately, I let the stress of trying to keep up with all the hints take the fun away so I took a long break from participating in the GEs.

I can't wait to get my buddy's name. I think we are all going to have a blast!
I love doing the GE...and I actually suck eggs at the hint threads:p That is the part I dread the most. I either give it all away on the first hint...or I have everyone so confused they don't know what the heck my clues even mean...I like the idea of one clue a week. I actually don't read a lot of the hint threads because I love being surprised who our buddy is. Heck that is a big part of the fun for me..being surprised.

Ugggg!!!! LOL, sure wish Admin would have gone and closed the sign ups, because I couldn't resist the temptation! Now we're in!

Yay...I'm so glad you changed your mind!

lol...It's twice now that I signed up after the official sign-up closing date - that one extra day got me.:D

Yeah! I can't wait for signups to close and for us to get our buddies. I'm already studying the signups and plotting:rolleyes::D maybe I should have said planning what I'm going to do.

I tried planning ahead a couple of times. Then we drew the Yorkie we were planning on using as a vendor. I had to back peddal. LOL. Now, I just wait......

Donna, when there is an odd member, either Admin or a Moderator joins. Why don't you jump the fence to the "in" side :).

As long as we don't draw eachother it doesn't have to be an even number of entires....right? Or am I missing something? :rolleyes:

Example:
1 has 2, 2 has 3, 3 has 4, 4 has 5, 5 has 6, 6 has 7 and 7 has 1.

oh my, I will join in, if I could assure that Sherry was my secret buddy, the clothes she has made for Lola are our favories:D I wish this was not summer, summer for us in MI especially when you have boats is to short and just to busy.

I'm so glad more have joined. I cannot participate right now. I just purchased some much needed items for my horse. He used up all my "fun" money. :rolleyes:

I am really looking forward to watching this one though. I hope you all have a fabulous time!
