Okay don't laugh...we have a GE rubbermaid in the closet! I see something and think, hmm that would be a good GE gift and buy it and hide it from DH in the closet. HEHE! Then when GE comes I pick a theme and go shop in my bin and then again at the stores.

Tink likes shopping this way...one for me, one for you, one for the bin.:D

LOL...that is a great idea:) I have been ordering things and picking up stuff when I am out. I figure, if it doesn't work this time, I can always use it for the next GE or in future GE's:D This is our first one and I am sure we will start participating in most of them.

I have not even told my husband about this yet. He will think I am a little crazy but loves the dogs as much as I do. The rubbermaid thing is a great idea. This could get very addicting I am afraid. Ordered more stuff yesterday :rolleyes:

I hid the first couple of GEs from my DH too. I didn't want to hear him tell me how silly "he" thought it was not because he'd be upset over money. Then, little by little as things came in the mail that I ordered for my buddy, I told him. Then, OMG, a box came for us and we sat in front of him (while he watched TV with remote in hand) and opened it. He was shocked and humbled as much as we (dog and I) at what was in the box. He actually said, "people really send that stuff?" He has no idea how big the world really is and the good that is out there. He always sees what I make and shop for but he hadn't really seen us receive. Now he thinks its pretty cool and I don't hide anything from him anymore. He's starting to have as much fun as I and even make suggestions. (we don't talk about that though) :D:D

We are excited for this gift exchange to begin also!

Love participating in these gift exchanges. And LOVE to make special gifts for Princess's buddies!

I enjoy shopping and stocking up on gifts too and have been filling a Rubbermaid container for future exchanges. When I am shopping, I will see things and buy just for these exchanges. Then I try to make special gifts for Princess's buddies, in addition to what I have bought.

Now I have started to make dresses and harness vests. I am hoping Princess's buddy for this GE wears clothes. :)

We're excited too. I'm looking forward to getting on YT and always finding new hint threads to read.
I think the shopping ahead of time and storing up (go Rubbermaids :)) is part of the fun...like an ongoing yorkie scavenger hunt. :D

We have a box in the closet also! It is addicting, my dh doesnt even try to say Im nuts, its been 37 yrs so he knows Im nuts...lol Getting a bit anxious!

I've been a fan of the YT gift exchanges since I first found the site! I can't wait untill I get my little baby and we can sign up and have fun too :)

We love the GE and have played for the last several. I'm hoping we will sign up because it is my Barney's birthday soon and last year he got all his favorite toys from his buddy. I am just trying to decide if I can make time to do the hints and make my buddy all the things I like to make. We still have time, and I'm sure we will sign up :)

I am going to hate this but I may have to sit this one out. :( I had so much fun last time that I hate too. But with adding Mikki we have had some extra expenses there. She was spayed and had her dew claws removed. And now I have to get her shots. Plus I bought her some clothes. Lol. Still debating but may wait until the next go round. When will the next sign ups be?
