Anakin Skywalker was Armani’s SB – they had each other. This is our second GE and both times our SB also had our name. Kimberly was out of town but the first delivery attempt of Anakin’s package was Saturday, June 4th. Thankfully it was successfully delivered on Tuesday, June 8th. I was waiting on acknowledgement from Kimberly (which I received today) as I did not want to ruin the secret. If there is someone that did not receive his/her package, I too would like to participate in sending something special. Have a delightful weekend everyone – TGIF! |
Susan, I am sorry about your package. I hope that this does not discourage you from participating in future GE events. |

Aww..Susan..again you are very kind. I am sorry we still have not heard from our SB. I apologize for not posting on the GE everyone...Dakota never got her package and Admin had contacted me but I was hoping it was just a mail mishap. I went to our post office to check and make sure they hadn't tried to deliver it or it had been misplaced...nothing. I had talked with Susan and Admin...but I wasn't sure if anyone else knew about the situation and didn't want to "stir the pot". :) It makes me sad more than anything...I get so much enjoyment out of being able to send another yorkie and their human something special in the mail...I feel bad for Susan...I really like seeing the pictures and hearing how the furbabys reacted to their packages..I know Dakota is hilarious when she gets something...I just don't understand why someone would do something like this. :( I feel bad that Admin or whomever has to put together another box just for kota. I hope we haven't put anybody out. |
I think you both have reacted with great class. I too feel sad because this is such a fun event to participate in, a great way to make friends, learn a little bit about the people we come here and converse with, and have a lot of fun in the process. When people don't follow through with the rules, it really just puts a bad feeling in everyone's heart, not just the SB's that missed out. I hope this bad experience does not keep you both (or anyone else) from participating again, and I hope the negative actions of some does not keep the GE from continuing. |
I feel so bad that there were some issues with this GE. I certainly want to jump in if we get to put together a group package for anyone who didn't get a box. I love the GE's so much! :) |
