Hello all,

I am a little confused LOL

It is nice to see everyone on this site is so friendly and are close knit, but I'm confused about why you guys do a gift exchange. lol

Because it's fun to get to know each other a little better and I love to shop but DH would kill me if I brought all this stuff home for our kids. It's fun to plan, make, find, scheme how to surprise your Secret Buddy. It's rather like the best part of Christmas every couple of months. For me, the best part of Christmas is finding that special gift and seeing the joy of the person you're giving it to. That's why I do it.

What confuses you about it?

Teresa's answer was perfect. I just wanted to add that it's a little 'perk' for donating members, to get to know others who love YT as much as they do. :)

When I was looking through the different threads and stuff, I saw that there was a lot of people that do it. At first I was thinking it was like a secret santa thing, like something you do at Christmas time. Then I was seeing a bunch of different dates and I was a little confused.. Its really nice that this community is so close knit and that everyone is friendly here.

I don't have a Yorkie, and I kinda feel bad that I joined a Yorkie forum but there aren't really any other small dog forums. I saw a couple other people on here that didn't have Yorkie's and I saw somewhere that it was for any dog lovers before I decided to join. I hope its okay that I did join?

Well, see, it is like a secret santa...that comes 4 times a year! :D yeah! That's one of the cool things about it.

I have no problem with you being here, even if you don't have a Yorkie. I think you'll still get a lot of good info and you'll be able to share the love you have for your dog(s) with people who completely understand and won't think you're that 'crazy dog lady'. :p Because I'm sure that's my middle name with some of my friends/family. :rolleyes: LOL Who knows maybe you'll be able to start your own forum one day for MinPins. :)
