So here's my question for this hour... What if we're on the forum posting when Admin decides to send us a PM with our buddy's name? Will it still show up? Will that number appear in the upper right that shows you have a PM if you're actively on the board? Hmmmmmmm...it's almost the reverse of the tree falling in the forest with no one there to hear it.....LOL Welcome to my wacky world of strange things I think about when I'm trying not to think about what I can't stop thinking about. Hope that was clear. OK...I'm leaving now to think about what I don't want to think about in peace...LOL NO....you only think you know what I'm thinking about...LOL |

You really are anxious aren't you Toy? :D Don't worry, you will definately still get your PM, even if you are on line, as Sarah lined out for you. I am expecting the SB PMs to come sometime, Monday. Wow -- that is today since I am still up, another night of no sleep. This insomnia is really getting bad! Maybe I should ban myself from the computer after midnight, especially when having trouble sleeping. I'll probably sleep through the notifications! :eek: |
Agh.........I had a PM this morning..........thought it would be my PM from admin...............it wasn't.:( Surely when I get home from work it will be here. |

It worked well for me when I was still teaching. Actually, I'm using this GE as a diversion for my diet. It's new and exciting and holds my interest. As long as I'm on the forum looking for a message or actually planning for the GE, I'm not eating when I shouldn't. It is not easy to lose weight when you eat from boredom and every other emotion known to man. However, something like this occupies my hands as well as my brain (well, sometimes) and helps to eradicate my eating when I shouldn't. I would probably make a good case study for some up and coming psych student if I would allow them access to my brain ... but there's only so much I'm willing to do for the advancement of science ... LOL It might be interesting to know though whether they could determine if I am right or left brained. I love logic, order, and mathematics ... taught it for nearly 2 decades but on the other hand, I love the written word as in technical writing as well as creative imagery. I never show a dominant side of the brain when I do the diagnostic questionnaires but I've never had it professionally done. |
