who is waiting for thier ge besides Dakota? Just thought it would be easier to watch for these names.

I was wondering when this thread was going to get started........no, Toby and I are not waiting for our GE, but we are curious to see who is.

My Gucci is waiting for his too, but our buddy has not received their gift yet either.

We're still waiting to get Zoe's package from her buddy. Every day I hope and nothing happens. Now I'm nervous though, because this weekend we're moving and by Monday night we'll be living at our new address. I'm mail forwarding but it won't go in to effect until the end of the month. I keep worrying it'll get delivered, but since we're not there, they won't leave it (since it's probably signature confirmation). :(

I know I may have missed someone but I have checked several times so if I am mistaken, I keep making the same mistake each time.

I count 14 people who have not yet received their packages or at least that many who have not revealed to the board who their secret buddy was.

I haven't been counting "teaser" cards/gifts as revealing the buddy so those are not yet recorded in my chart as fulfilled.

I started this little "exercise" to see if I could figure out who Taffy's buddy was (no luck, LOL) but I've continued it even after receiving our gift package because it is an excellent way for me to start connecting Yorkie names with their owners. Prior to this, I only knew the match-up of about 4 Yorkies and their owners and now I know quite a few. Plus, I'm bound to be thwarting dementia for another day by exercising my brain a bit more than usual.

Toy -- I vote you Gift Exchange Queen! With so many signed up, I don't know how you kept up with it all like that. You must be very organized. I used to be organized, then I retired and I must have left a few too many brain cells at work. :)

To those still waiting -- I hope everyone gets their gifts soon! I know it is hard to wait, but think of it this way. All of our excitement is starting to calm down now and yours can just begin! My DH used to be the slowest eater ever, especially when he had a big bowl of ice cream. He would purposely wait til I was done. Then he would look over with his still full bowl and a big ol' grin and say, "Aren't you sorry you ate yours so fast?" :) Sometimes I would fool him and come over and snitch a bite of his too! Thanks for reminding me of a very sweet memory.

LOL...I'm only organized when I want to prolong the fun and postpone the real work...in this case, housework.

I just look for reasons to dwaddle away time on the computer. I think I'm reverting back to teenage years in my old age and thinking "as long as I look busy!"

I just did a quick spreadsheet a couple of weeks ago. I tried to post it in a blog entry but it didn't work. I had planned to share it but then couldn't. My plan exceeded my ability...LOL

Guess we're one of the remaining 14 then. :( Zoe seems unfazed, since she's too focused on the excitement of us moving. :rolleyes: But me, I'm nervous and anxious! I can just picture our package coming, and either sitting in the post office because we weren't there or getting left outside and getting rained on (since it's summer and there's basically a thunderstorm every day).

I know what you mean about rain every day. We are sending it your way. (I'm over near Pensacola) LOL! My pool water is actually cold again just from the rain. Have family visiting and they are getting rain every day when they came for the Florida sunshine!
