Gucci bear is thinking he has No-Buddy ...
 

He has been waiting patiently for his buddy to send him a clue or a gift but so far .. there's been nothing :(... He thinks he may have been forgotten. I tried to tell him his buddy is maybe still putting things together but he sees me scratching names of our list as we go and we are down to only those who haven't posted a hint thread and he's starting to worry.

This was him after I opened a box that wasn't for him.. :( I know there are others still waiting let's show G-Bear he isn't the only one being patient. Any pics of those waiting for the guy in the brown shorts?? :p

Don't worry Gucci Bear! You will have a gift from your buddy soon enough! Bailey hasn't gotten anything yet either and either has our buddy. We're still waiting on ONE more thing that will hopefully be here tomorrow or Tuesday at the VERY latest! :)

She's so busy seeing what she can get into next that she's even forgotten I've boxed up dog toys that she didn't get to play with because they are for her buddy.

In the last 30 minutes alone she has been able to mysteriously "find" a sheet of unused, forever stamps, the plastic ring off a milk carton, the clear top to a box of notecards, a plastic bag, a folded new pee pad, an abandoned straw wrapper, and more. We have dubbed her the human vacuum cleaner and the most common expression nowadays at our house is..."What does she have now?" Honestly, we can eyeball a room and see nothing she can get into but she still somehow manages.

Now on top of the things she somehow scopes out from who knows where, she has learned that standing on her back legs gives her opportunities to new territories. She's discovered the coffee table, etc.

Earlier this week I rescued my husband's credit card statement from her chewing. Of course, had it been mine, I might have been encouraging her to chew harder...LOL

The way we look at it here, Gucci, is that the party's just starting! Our surprises are still adventures in waiting while those who have their packages already just have the memories of opening and discovering the contents. It is true that they have new stuff to eat, play with, or wear but our time awaits. And...get this...we have a better chance of figuring out who our buddy is...LOL

Since dogs have their own idea of what is cool maybe you should just gather up the stuff they find to play with and send that to their special buddy. LOL

Ours has at least 20 toys scattered in random fashion on the floor which she dodges as she runs away with the contraband...LOL

lol lol lol .. now I was laughing at that too, Gucci is also a K-9 Vacuum haha. Oh the surprises I could send....

buttons, string, paper shreds, cotton, puppy pad filler, hair, dust bunnies, mail, daddys socks, straw wrappers, random candy wrappers from my 10 yr old, his 13 yr old sisters tape shreds and other joyous finds..... hmmmmmm

Sounds like you gals are talking about our "tulla"!!! We call her kirby around here....and if we had a dime for everytime the statement "what does tulla have now?" was uttered...well lets just say it is exclaimed ALOT in our house too!

It's amazing how much I spend to keep those girls occupied and what gems tulla finds in our house that are "free" that keeps her so busy! Whilest all those costly items lay unused in their toy box!!! :rolleyes:
