Ah -- that would be very disappointing! The most fun of the GE is seeing your SB enjoy opening the gifts. I was really looking forward to seeing what you put together too. Knowing your business, I figured you might have a special thing or two in there. :) If you took a picture before you sent it, maybe you could post for us all to see. I know it would not take the place of your SB posting, but we could ooh and ahh over it! I love seeing the creative way everyone puts their gifts together. Hope everything is alright with your secret buddy and their owner. It does make you worry a bit when they haven't logged on in a while. |

Oh, I am so sorry your SB has not acknowledged that they received their box from you. That would just make me so sad.........in fact it does make me sad even though I didn't send the box. Definitely PM the admin and let them know. I think it's in the rules that your SB is supposed to acknowledge/thank you via PM, profile message, and/or a picture thread. Admin needs to know. Maybe they can find out why you haven't heard anything. |
tatertot15 - we are definately bummed.. luckily I took pics of most of the stuff we sent out, there were a few things not in the picture because I got them later but it's ok we got most of it in the pics. I don't know if they sent their gift out because they haven't logged on to YT since the 10th but I sure hope so. Deb - I think that seeing your SB enjoy the stuff is the best part too... we were looking forward to the thanks thread but it hasn't come yet :( . I am definately going to post a pic, I am just trying to decide when and how long to wait ya know. I hope our buddy is doing well at least, since they haven\'t logged on for a long while. We don\'t know what the girl we gave to looks like because there are no pics of her on YT, so we were hoping to see the cutie pie in the thank you thread.. but it hasn\'t come. I did PM admin and he said to wait and then post our pics if we want. He said it would be sad and unfortunate if they didn\'t thank us. I did read in the rules, that it is a requirement to thank your buddy but idk how it works. |
