Ge moms - packages sign for or not? Just curious as ready to send out packages and wanted to know do you like to sign for packages or just drop off on door step? |
My address is a business, so you have to have someone sign. :) |
My address is safe to drop off If I am home, however I usually say sign in case I'm not home simply because people steal stuff from porches around here, there are lots of Kids around here and they like to "take off" with stuff that doesn't belong to them, sadly :( |
were good with the porch. thanks for asking |
we don't mind either....:D but I always send my packages with sig required... |
I get my packages and mail at a UPS store. Best to have delivery conf., tracking number as proof of delivery in case they lose it. They will sign for anything. |
You can send that right over here Deb. I'm home all day long!! :D |
We're never home to sign for packages, so just left on the porch is fine. :D |
They generally just put our packages by the front door. Once in awhile we will get something that requires a signature. We can send our package however our buddy desires. I had wondered about how we should send it as in whether or not to require a signature. Sometimes it's a real hardship for people to do the signature thing. Glad you started this thread! |
Packages that come to me are safe in my park..if it is ups or fed x they bring it right to my door and put it inside my screen room.. I sent one with a siggy for I was not sure.. did not want a parcel left..but I am safe here which ever way without a siggy.. hope this helps to whomever has mariska or majik...:D:D:D:D:D |
I'm fine with whatever. :) |
Our's just gets dropped at the front porch & it's well concealed, so it's all good. Plus we usually get 2 door bell rings (from the UPS/USPS guy/gal) & 2 yorkies (Mimi & Momo) barking like mad! |
Porch is fine with us. Never had a problem with any packages before. |
I need mine to be just dropped off... I cannot sign for it since I work full time and am not home when the deliveries come. However, my neighborhood is condos and pretty safe. Ive had packages on my doorstep all day that have not been touched by anyone. :) |
Well it's safe to send to my home address which was on my GE sign up..no need for siggie!:D:D:D |
Moms....if you can afford you might want to insure your packages just to be on the safe side. I know I am!!:D |

Thank you for starting this thread!!! I have been wondering, but of course Ryder's buddy hasn't posted on here yet..... (another hint?!?!?) Our package is perfectly safe to be left on the porch. I am in and out all day and am far, far away from the nearest pick-up so if UPS/FEDEX misses us we would be really sad!! |

good post..for this I think is what debbie is after..I know I do not need to sign as we have postal people in our park.. ups or fed x leave parcel in side my screened in porch.. but that is a question I wondered about too for our buddie..I think this is a good question to actually have admin put right on our questions sheet when we sign up..what do ya all think of that.. anne |
Either way works for us! |
If I can add this, IF IT IS UPS OR FEDEX NO SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED as they will come when I am home usually and they ring the bell before they leave. USPS comes at a time when I am usually not here and If I am here, they don't knock or ring they just leave stuff out there :( Adrianna |
Either way is fine for Ben too. No one bothers anything out where I live, so no signature is needed unless you would rather have it that way. We're sort of off the beaten path. |
My condominium complex would take it in the office either way, so it wouldn't chance getting stolen on the porch, so no need to pay extra if sending to us :) |
