The mailman brought me a parcel after all!!
 

I felt very bad for Chelsey, i signed her up for the summer giftexchange, i took her with me to do shopping for her secret buddy and she sat with me while i made the surprise basket, she saw all the toys, treats and shirt getting wrapped up and told her that the mailman will bring HER one of these too - i made the STUPID mistake of driving her CRAZY by telling her every morning "theres the mailman" now she sits waiting for the "mailman" to drop a parcel and all he brought her were silly bills :rolleyes: she never recieved her parcel for the YT summer giftexchange :( So i decided to order both of them clothes from lovelonglong and toys from ebay, the clothes arrived yesterday, so when the mailman rang the doorbell i got all excited for her and told her SEE the mailman did NOT forget you, she wagged her tail so bad her whole body wagged :D So today the mailman rang the doorbell AGAIN, she RAN like a bullet to the door and BINGO another parcel, the toys arrived - she was smiling all the way, when dad came home she took the toy she got to show him, shes NOT sharing her airplane with Chanel who got a drilling machine that makes sound, she keeps it all to herself lol its priceless to watch these two!!

I told her, that these parcels came from her YT buddy, dont think she understands, but shes HAPPY with what she got, the expression on her face showed me plenty - they are SO worth it!!!!

Oh wow, was it late for months because of customs or something? Yay for Chelsey!!! :)

I'm glad she got the gifts that she deserved! That's great!

I can just visualize the excitement on Chelsey's face! If I am reading the thread correctly it says that the actual YT gift never arrived. And...to make her fur babies happy she took it upon herself to order special gifts. Way to go Chelsey's Mom.

You right Schatzie, Chelsey's gift from the summer gift exchange never arrived, it made me feel bad because i promised her that she would also get a gift, but she never did - im ok with it "it takes all kinds to make the world go round" it just made me feel bad to see that all the other yorkies were getting surprises and members were posting pics of their baskets, and my furkid was being left behind, she deserved to get a surprise like all the other yorkies do, thing is, SHE sat waiting every morning for the mailman, MY mistake, because i made her go crazy for him LOL - when he dropped the boxes i made a BIG scene and she just KNEW this time it was for her, i wish i could have video taped her expression, she looked like a kid that saw Santa LOL

I know thats why the rules did change this time with the gift exchange... :rolleyes:

I spoke to Natilie last gift exchange when I realized that some of our members didn't get a gift...and she told me that it was taken care of....

I feel bad....hopefully with the new gift exchange that won't happen again....

I know that your girls loved their box...they are just darling....hugs and yorkie kisses to them from Sophie.... ;) :)

I'm glad your package finally arrived, and am sorry that some people never did get their packages. I hope this time if someone is unable to follow through they will contact the administrators so they can do something or maybe their would be other members on here that would be willing to help out those that didn't get their packages.
