Where are all the GE SB's?????
 
It's almost pointless to keep trying to narrow down who is or who is'nt your GE SB,because there are so many MIA people on the list. This is our first,and truthfully may be our last. I put alot of work into it and it's time consuming trying to think of hints and figure things out. I have 7 December birthdays,and still mange to find time to participate,so others have fun also. Maybe I'm being petty,but this was suppose to be fun,why get in it if your not going to play along??:thumbdown

I may be wrong, but the whole object of the Gift Exchange is to do just that, exchange gifts. It's called Secret Buddy Gift Exchange for a reason :rolleyes:. It's your choice whether you post hints or keep tallys of those who have posted hints so it isn't like it's a requirement. A lot of people have very busy lives where they're not able to get on here and post hints just so you ladies who are keeping tally sheets have a better chance of figuring out who your SB is.

I have posted hints, I have been TRYING to read all the hints but it's very time consuming. ha ha

We are not saying they have to post but we just want them to join the fun. When i posted my thread if you read it carefully i even stated i wasnt disappointed because the didnt post so i can figure out who i had i simply stated that i wanted them to have fun with us. And im sure the OP was saying the same thing. But i cant speak on the OPs behalf. So it has nothing to do with trying to figure out who we have. Just getting them to join in on the fun.

Sorry but I would have to agree, that's why it's called a "secret" buddy. You're not really supposed to find out who your buddy is until you recieve your gift.

I would have to agree with everyone else on this...the fun really doesn't start until the delivery happens.

The hint threads are a recent addition with the past couple of GE's....previously there were no hint threads and you could only go by process of elimination once people starting receiving them. Personally I always enjoyed the surprise factor when receiving the gift.

i agree with you....people are starting to make this not fun...i have been sick in bed...along with that i had accidently burnt my wrist cooking and can barely bend my wrist...and the finance told me yesterday that my car is not working...so i am going to have to get on top of things here...hehe...jmo

Please note that posting hints are completely OPTIONAL. Some members may choose to not post hint threads, and that is their right to. Alternatively, if you want to post a hint thread or participate in hint threads, you may, but it is not required in any way.

There is no requirement for members participating in the Gift Exchanges that the member make hint threads and there never has been. The only basic requirements are sending a gift and posting a thank you thread once you receive your gift. Thank you.

No, actually, the OP was acting like she was pissed off because people weren't joining in on hints so THOSE who keep tally sheets can't figure out who their SECRET buddy is. That may just be the way I took it though but that IS what she said. :confused:

Well im sorry about that. But if anyone read my thread i truly did not mean anything by it. Thanks though. I truly am have a great time with this as i know a lot of others are as well! I cant wait to sign up for the next one.

If I've offended anyone,I'm sorry. This is my first GE. I went back and read the gift exchange rules,and also saw the post Admin had posted. I assumed the hints were part of the process. I was wrong. I guess I am just exited and when noone was posting hints, I was frustrated, because it is so time consuming trying to figure it all out. I really thought more people should have been participating. So agin,I started all this drama,and that truly wasn't my intention. Lets close this thread admin,and move on.:(
