Ok i got attacked by two mad and wild yorkies tonight when i came through the door with neither of their packages -whew i am lucky to still be alive but i got them calmed down with some chicken so i think i will be ok for another day -- :eek:

Pippa is still looking forward to getting her box, but our GE Buddy is still waiting for theirs too since we just shipped it today. So, I guess we are even...LOL :D

ok the chicken is not going to work for too long - going to have to break out the carrots next as i just got attacked bringing in the mail today again :animal36 sb save me

Boo-Boo was gone when I got home but Thank God the post office called and said he camped out there for the day!!! He said if the box doesn't come to him, he can travel a long way to get it himself. LOL

we lied dd got hers today and it is so cute - just sent the thread -- dexter is pretty jealous -- it is a good thing he does not fit in dd clothes or he would be wearing those pink cozy pj's she got. Last SB he stole her pink bone - he gets that way ya know - men

Maybe you should explain to her that they can't deliver anything if there's nothing to be delivered. Sounds like she's not going to take that as an answer though!

I admit I'm getting a little concerned. This is my first GE, so I'm not sure if it's typical for people to ship their packages at the last minute? It just seems really weird that I have two dogs in and neither of their boxes have arrived.

To those of you who have done the GE in the past, is it often that people sign up but never send out anything?

lol -- don't worry it will get there - i just received one of mine for dee dee today also. I think that most are waiting on items to send out as many special order things too so it takes a little time -- plus it is fun to guess to the last minute. I am totally stumped -- down to 24 people that it could be - probably a non hinter but there are a few that hinted it could be still :) hang in there and have some chicken on hand when the mail man comes -lol

Chicken? I know this is a dumb question, but why would the mailman want chicken?

not the mailman silly the dogs get the chicken so they do not attack you for not getting their box that day -- I have to ward mine off with a treat :)

Mine don't know when the mailman comes. Our mailbox is pretty far from the house. I don't even know if our mailman carries dog treats, but I've heard that most do now. Oddly enough, even the delivery person for the Chinese place we order from carries dog bones. I thought that was really funny. I guess maybe anyone who delivers anything now wants to come prepared for dogs.

If only they knew it's actually my cats they need to watch out for, and nobody carries cat treats :confused:

I once was the last to receive a buddy box, it was about two weeks after the posted shipping deadline. Many do ship on the last day. Some boxes come from abroad and those take much much longer due to customs. Patience comes to those who wait. I have never heard of someone not sending a box. They are banned from GEs in the future if they pull that one.

I figured out who Mika's Sb is! Dino!!! I said earlier on in another thread that I suspected they had us and now theres so few left its much easier to narrow it down:D Our package has been mailed and should be about another week or so! I'm sooo excited!

Also we have our final item:D I'm going to post our SB's package Monday (we don't celebrate Labour day, what the heck is it anyways?) probably take about a week:rolleyes:Can't wait to see our SB enjoying his gifts and momma too:D

This is my first GE too! I think its fun to wait that bit longer not only is it exciting to figure out who has you but also the longer it takes for your package to arrive the shorter the wait til the next GE! Next sign ups should be the beginning of October! By the time my package arrives it'll only be a few weeks til it all starts again:D

Holly was so hopeful that the long weekend would find her buddy box delivered today. No such luck. I keep telling her it will be well worth the wait. But she just does not understand.

Well we will add another hint... Samira says that a very special baby girl is going to get a yummy package from her. She personally inspected everything and tried to claim it as her own. :)

No package for dex yet and no idea who our mysterious dee dee sb is -- we did get pm'd from we think dex's sb friend letting us know it is on it's way so he got all excited

none for us yet. We sent our package out on Friday to our SB so they should be getting it today or tomorrow...for some reason my delivery confirmation isn't updated on the usps website

Miko is still patiently waiting on his box also.

We sent our GE box out last Thursday, UPS said it should be there by this Thursday.

came home today and still no box on the porch nor slip on the door...haven't drove to the mailbox yet so maybe its in there...hehe

We are still waiting actually I had forgot until I came on here a few hours ago :o but Bailey sure wouldn't let me forget too long, but he's still very patient :)

Oh WOWzers Bailey just let me know that the deadline had passed already so I hope everything is OK with Bailey's SB :confused: I told Bailey not to worry though.

you must have a mailbox like mine! USPS had already delivered before I left for work today so nothing from them..so unless it came by another mail carrier this afternoon I guess no package today. But I won\'t get home til about midnight tonight.
